I intentionally booked the Hilton as we called in advance to confirm that there was a hot tub on property and working. Upon arrival, I was notified that it was not indeed a hot tub and that this was “something they were working on to install jets for in the future”. I selected a more expensive room so that we could have poolside access in order to utilize the hot tub amenities. In addition, I was notified that the elevators were not in service close to the hallway where our room was assigned therefore we had to take the stairwell each time. On arrival back to our hotel room after going out to dinner our room cards did not work to access the hallway and we had to go all the way back to the front desk in order to have them recorded only to find out it wasn’t the card, but the door itself that was broken and they had to call Engineering to come fix. Overall, the front desk service was great, but given the price that we paid and the fact that we selected this hotel strictly for for the fact, they had a hot tub and even paid extra for a room to be close to the pool was incredibly frustrating and we will not be staying here again.
