With an occupancy of up to 8 people, it’s suitable for family retreats and memorable getaways with friends.

The Space:
The location places you within easy reach of the area’s many unforgettable attractions and plentiful opportunities for outdoorsy fun.

Your home-away-from-home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by fragrant pines and under the gaze of the awe-inspiring Rockies. A huge driveway provides parking for multiple vehicles and includes enough space for an RV (no hookups and the detached garage is not available for use). The house's exterior is reminiscent of the rugged mountain landscape. Inside, you’ll love the airy, open concept first floor with a high-pitched ceiling that suggests the height of the mountains and its crisp, fresh air. The décor has been carefully selected for a perfect combination of sleek, modern comfort and rugged Colorado character.

The living room provides seating for at least eight and leads into the dining area and kitchen, with an inviting table for six - that expands to seat 8 with a drop leaf. The dining area is flooded with light from a sliding glass door leading to the outdoor entertaining area. The table overlooks a cozy, spacious game/family room. Prepare meals in the well stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including a full-size stove and refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and deep double sink. Also provided are a crockpot, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, and chef’s knives.

Down a short flight of stairs, you’ll be irresistibly lured into the game/family room with its plump, sumptuous leather sofas, plush carpet, and large TV. This is the space to rest your weary, satisfied bones after a day of hiking, fly fishing, or rafting. Kids and adults alike will love the foosball table and multiple board games! Conveniently, there’s a bathroom on the lower level.

Just off the family room there is a wonderful recreation room. A clever convertible table converts from a pool table to a ping-pong surface. You’ll find all the accessories you need here to play, plus a wall-mounted TV to watch while you’re waiting for your shot and a soundbar to play all your tunes by bluetooth. The room has two twin beds - inside a trundle bed comfy sofa - which can also be used to enjoy the entertainment of your family or friends playing pool or ping pong. A small refrigerator is located in the room so you can have all your refreshing drinks handy.

On the second floor, a primary bedroom with King-size bed includes an en suite bath with shower stall, plus a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a TV for unwinding in private. A large closet includes an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

A second bedroom also sleeps two with a King-size bed, soothing ceiling fan and large walk in closet.

The third bedroom is a cheerful space ideal for all travelers with two extra large twin beds. A full bath includes a shower/tub combo with sliding glass doors and a generously sized sink vanity. A full-size washer and dryer are tucked behind closet doors in the hall.

Colorado is a celebration of the outdoors, and this home invites you to enjoy life under a big sky with a fantastic outdoor entertainment area. Take meals outside on the deck at the umbrella table that seats six, just beside the fire pit surrounded by four chairs. Barbecue on the grill, then sink into the oversized hot tub tucked under the stars. Refine your bean bag tossing skills with two cornhole games in the fenced yard or enjoy a game of giant Jenga! Please note that our wood-burning fireplace is currently out of order and inaccessible for use. This decision is in alignment with both our hosting regulations and insurance policies.

Guest Access:
You will have access to everything in the home, as well as the hot tub and fenced in yard. We recommend a 4WD or AWD in the Colorado area during the winter. The driveway has room for an RV! Please note there are no hookups.

To keep it in optimal condition, we have a professional hot tub technician visit our property once a week. This maintenance visit, usually lasting about an hour, ensures that the hot tub is kept clean, functional, and ready for your enjoyment throughout your stay.

Rest assured, these visits are designed to be non-intrusive. The technician only needs access to the outdoor area and will not disturb your indoor privacy. We schedule these sessions to ensure minimal disruption to your relaxation and aim to provide you with a seamless, top-notch experience and the detached garage is not available for use.

The Neighborhood:
Woodland Park is just about 20 minutes west of Colorado Springs, up Ute Pass and located at around 8,300’ elevation in the mountains. Although linked closely to Colorado Springs, it retains a unique character all its own — a real mountain town. There’s charm here, peace and quiet, but also unique restaurants, cafes, breweries and special places like the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center … a privately owned dinosaur museum!

The greater area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, yet the variety of sites and entertainments offer something to please everyone. For breathtaking views, visit the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, where awe-inspiring sandstone rock formations soar 300 feet into the sky. Don’t miss Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain” at 14,115 feet. Live your best life biking, hiking, ziplining, rafting, exploring fossil beds, waterfalls and wildlife. Meander through Manitou Springs and fall in love with its artistic charms, or explore Old Colorado City, a lively area of Colorado Springs that’s rich in dining options, galleries, shopping and more. Kids of all ages will love the Florissant Fossil Beds and the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, just up the highway. In the immediate neighborhood, you’ll find several casual family dining options, as well as supermarkets, drug stores, and large retail chains for your convenience.

Getting Around:
Although there are plenty of restaurants, bars and outdoor recreational opportunities close to this property, we recommend that you have a 4WD or AWD vehicle or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region.

Other Things to Note:
Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
We require a refundable hold on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee by purchasing a damage waiver to stay insured throughout your stay.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early for an early check-in or the day before your departure for a late check-out.
