Welcome to our home in E Co Springs! This newly renovated private basement is located in a sweet neighborhood just a few blocks away from UCHealth Park (home of the Colorado Springs Vibes Baseball team), several parks, 2 incredible donut shops, many yummy restaurants, and 3 shopping plazas.

In this lovingly updated basement, guests will have access to the entire basement apartment where they will enjoy an open-concept living area with a retro arcade system, 70" & 42" Roku TVs, fully equipped kitchen with gorgeous quartz counters, comfortable beds, washer and dryer, and a fenced yard with a hot tub. We have designed the space with you in mind, so you will have everything you need to enjoy the most relaxing stay possible. We can’t wait to host you!

PARKING & ENTRY
There is off-street parking for one vehicle in the driveway and plenty of free street parking for additional vehicles. Access the basement apartment through a private entrance via convenient keyless entry. There are hooks by the door for your coats, and a stand for your shoes. The home is equipped with central air (both heating and cooling) and an individual heater for your comfort.

LIVING AREA and DINING
The open concept living area features a cozy couch with upgraded memory-foam pullout mattress, end table with coasters, and a 70-inch Roku TV so you can browse and log into apps like Netflix and Hulu to stream your favorite shows over blazing fast wifi. There is a retro video game system where you can access all your favorite classics, including 1,000s of games by Nintendo, Sony, and Neo Geo, to name a few. There is a bookcase with a variety of board games to play and books to read. And of course extra throw blankets to keep you cozy!

The dining area shares space with the living room and includes a dining table with a leaf for extra space and includes 4 wooden chairs with two stools for extra seating. There are plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, coffee mugs, plastic wine glasses, water glasses, and juice glasses.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make some delicious meals (or maybe just coffee!) during your stay. Stylish open-shelving makes it easy to find what you need, and the cabinets and drawers are labeled for your convenience. There is a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-cups, along with a reusable K-cup to fill with your favorite coffee. We also provide a hot water kettle, tea, cream, sugar, and sugar free sweetener.

There is a full-sized refrigerator with freezer and a Brita water dispenser. We also provide a complimentary bottle of wine (21+ only, of course). There is a four-burner electric range and oven, microwave, toaster, mixer, panini press, and a dishwasher with complimentary soap pods.

There are pots, pans, bakeware, baking sheet, cutting boards, a strainer, knives, measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing spoon, slotted spoon, slotted turner, ladle, spatula, tongs, whisk, grater, ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, scissors, a peeler, oven mitts, potholders, kitchen towels, can opener, bottle&wine opener, and wine stopper. There are some basic spices and a few complimentary oatmeal packets and snacks for you to enjoy.

BEDROOM AND SLEEPING AREA
There are two sleeping areas, one in the private bedroom and the other in the living room on the brand new Queen-sized pull-out sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress. Both beds are outfitted with high quality bedding, plenty of pillows, and fresh linens for your comfort. The bedroom features a brand new Queen-sized Casper "Wave Hybrid Snow" mattress (the most expensive & luxurious mattress in Casper's catalog!) along with a 42” Roku TV, dresser, two floating nightstands, two alarm clocks (with USB ports, adjustable brightness and night light), full-length mirror, and closet with plenty of hangers, extra sheets and pillows, a humidifier, and ironing board. We also provide a queen sized memory foam topper for additional comfort if you'd like.

BATHROOM
In the spacious bathroom, we provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, hair dryer, along with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton balls, cotton swabs, and a few extra rolls of toilet paper, a first aid kit, and some feminine products. The bathroom features a full-size tub with shower. It also includes a fun word search for those who may need to sit for a bit!

LAUNDRY
There is a high-efficiency washer and dryer, and we provide a complimentary laundry pod. There is an iron/steamer combo and ironing board (stored in bedroom closet). There are some cleaning supplies such as a Swiffer, broom and dustpan.

OUTDOORS
The private basement opens to a cozy fenced in yard with a 5-person hot tub (with easy-open cover lifter, colorful lights, waterfall, and a compartment for warmed towels), brand new turf, a corn-hole set (stored in the laundry room), and patio string lights. Enjoy coffee on the patio in the morning sun, a meal and yard games in the afternoon, or end your day of adventuring with the steaming hot tub lit by the gentle glow of the market lights and Colorado stars.

HOT TUB
As part of the VRBO reservation process, you will agree to a liability form of hot tub rules. Be sure to follow these for your protection and in order to you avoid incurring extra fees . Guests will be provided a key in the laundry room that will allow you to unlock the hot tub clips. The hot tub includes a cover lifter, jets, waterfall, and colored lights.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests will have private access to the entire basement including living and dining room, kitchen area, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and backyard. Guests will not have access to the top two levels of the home where the owners live, the garage, or locked basement closet.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Your hosts live in the two levels of the house above the private basement. You may see us out front, working on the yard, or up on our porch. If you do, feel free to ask us any questions! But the level of privacy you desire is our goal, so we will respect you and not engage unless you do first :)

ADDITIONAL FEES
We have put a lot of work into making your stay perfect, and we value the time we have between guests to prepare for future guests. Please note that there are minimal fees for guaranteed early check ins or late check outs to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.

SMOKING
Smoking in accordance with Colorado law is permitted outside. There is no smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home - possible additional fees will occur.
