Summary:

This quaint 3-bedroom, 1-bath buttercream cottage is in one of Colorado Springs’ most desirable areas, about 10 minutes south of Downtown and 5 minutes from Broadmoor World Arena. You’ll enjoy an ideal combination of plentiful dining, shopping & entertainment nearby + the majestic Rocky Mountains just over your shoulder. 15 minutes to Ft. Carson & US Air Force Academy. Huge variety of attractions within 20 minutes: Pikes Peak, trails, falls, wildlife, outdoor recreation.



The Space:

This endearing buttercream cottage provides a homey, comfortable base as you explore this exceptional part of Colorado. After wringing the most out of every day, return to the welcoming embrace of this quaint abode to refresh and recharge.



A driveway provides off-street parking for multiple vehicles. A neat paved path leads to the sheltered front door. Inside, find yourself in a tranquil living space with an irresistibly plush L-shaped sofa with a built-in chaise and matching ottoman, ready to accommodate movie night snuggles, well-earned naps, and contented hours browsing on your iPad. The room is also appointed with a big TV, a ceiling fan, and a work area that includes a desk, chair, and storage.



Just off of the living room, a kitchen with a cozy dining corner provides a mix of bench and chair seating around a sturdy country table. Soft light through the lace curtains lends an air of gentility to hearty breakfasts. Get cookin’ with a full-size range, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. Keep yourself fueled with your favorite hot beverages all day with two coffee makers (one a single-serve Keurig machine), and a traditional tea kettle. A laundry nook off of the kitchen provides a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.



A back door leads from the kitchen to a spacious covered patio with a family picnic table and a yard beyond enclosed by chain fencing.



This home provides three inviting bedrooms and one full bath. The smallest of the bedrooms offers a full-size bed and a closet. The other two bedrooms are both corner rooms with windows on two walls providing plenty of natural light. Each provides a queen-size bed, dresser, and closet.



An attractive full bath includes a combination tub/shower and a large vanity with storage below.



Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire home and backyard. There is a locked shed onsite for owner storage that is not included.



Parking

Guests can park 2 cars back-to-back in the driveway and there is more room on the street. There can be room for a trailer or RV. Please be respectful of our neighbors' areas in front of their homes.



Early Check-in Requests

We cannot guarantee an early check-in before 4pm as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please message us on the day of your arrival to see if the property is ready no earlier than 2pm.



Check-in Process: All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

1. I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

2. I acknowledge that I will be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card through our online portal prior to check in.

You’re just moments from Route 115, which will carry you quickly and easily throughout the region.

Type of Cooling for the Home

Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.



Reminders About the Property

-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.

-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.

Peaceful and Clean

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood is this quiet and clean home. I enjoyed coffee on the back deck every morning and drinks in the evening. Love this small home with great amenities!
