Excellent Experience

The location is perfect, great view of Pikes Peak! Beautiful lot, peaceful. The home was great, lots of sleeping space & everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.Location great, we went white rafting on the gorge, hiking at Garden of the Gods & hiking at Pike National park. We also played at 11 mile national park - highly recommend, close to the cabin & absolutely beautiful with lots of adventures!Most impressive were the hosts, the best experience I have had with VRBO rental! Responsive & super friendly! Definitely recommend & we hope to come back.

Charming cabin outside Florissant

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this two bedroom + loft cabin. The cabin would sleep 10, but the common space would be better for a smaller group. We were delighted to find 9, pre-filled bird feeders on the back deck and saw many varieties of birds that are new to us Nebraska dwellers. We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning. The kitchen and bathrooms were both well-stocked. We used the laundry and most kitchen appliances, and everything worked great. The heated bathroom floor in the primary bath was great given the chilly morning temps. Beware! Don't trust your Waze app! Ask the property managers if you have questions. The property managers texted with us several times and were great to work with.

Beautiful views and fun cabin

Property is very well stocked and has plenty of room for family. Saw deer in the back yard and view from the back porch was gorgeous.

Exactly why we needed

The cabin and property was great! Loved the e covered deck which made it great for sitting outside even during the rain. The chairs on the side of the cabin were great for a little peace and quiet. The loft bed was a great escape from the kids and had a great view of the mountains and was great for just watching the rain. There were some rocks that the kids liked jumping off of, the kitchen was stocked with food and water which was a great surprise. We have already discussed coming back next summer!

Best rental we’ve been to so far, the host has everything in the property that you could need. We had our own personal things just in case (pillows, blankets, toiletries, etc.) because we’ve had bad experiences at other rentals. Other than that, property was very clean and organized. Cabin was located up the mountain, we had an amazing view, very quiet area, and the weather was amazing! Didn’t miss Texas weather at all. Will definitely rent again if I come back to Colorado.

This was a great cabin for our family. It had beautiful views. It was clean, check-in and out were easy. Its within driving distance to multiple attractions. 10/10 recommend.

Family Vacation in Colorado

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 8. The kids loved playing outside, while my husband and I sat on the porch and watched the deer and birds. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and towels. Washer and dryer were a plus! Kitchen was well stocked and we felt completely at home!

Great cabin

Rented this cabin for a fishing trip, great location amd the view was amazing. Cabin had plenty of room and the kitchen was a really good size with all the amenities! Love that it had Direct TV, and the wifi was also very good.

Rustic cabin

Great place to stay down dirt roads with wonderful view of distant mountains. Bonfire, star gazing remote but handy to fossil beds, Cripple Creek and Mueller State Park.

Our Greatest Trip to Anyplace, Ever

Exactly as advertised but better. We felt as if a family left their home with us and gave us the run of it. Everything we needed or could think of was there, clean, and at our disposal: blow up mattresses, a telescope to look at the stars, condiments, charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, and anything we would have at our own house. It is so quiet and peaceful and was worth the long drive to get there. I don't know what wildlife was outside at night but it sounded big and the comfortable bed was a better option than getting up to investigate what it was. The heated bathroom floor is a nice touch too. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views

Solid 10/10. The only thing that could be better was the cleanliness as we had to wash our sheets upon arrival after inspection. However, the washer and dryer were readily available in the home so we weren’t that bothered and would definitely not have it affect the 5 star rating. I need to first encourage all future renters to go outside in complete darkness and look at the stars. It is literally breathtaking. Stars at almost 9k elevation will make you speechless. The cabin is spacious and can sleep quite a few. There’s a great back and front yard with a fire pit. Stunning Mountain Views! It’s about 45 min from Colorado Springs. Super close to hiking in the Florissant Fossil Beds. Owners are very quick to respond. I could go on and on, this place is AMAZING!!

Beautiful view and private

Property was great, very natural setting. Further than we had expected from Woodland, CO. Wildlife frequent visits. A friendly fox came daily. Inside of rental was kept but cleaning should be a priority for the next group that stays. We noticed a foul odor in kitchen then noticed the dishwasher was full of water containing food particles, as if it was clogged. Notified management.

Great Mountain Getaway

A great cabin in a great location. Very comfortable and had all the amenities. The property management of this property needs to pay attention to better cleanliness of the cabin and functionality of amenities. We had to wash the bedsheets when we arrived. They were not washed since the previous guest. Bathrooms, shower, and hot tub had grim. Undone laundry in washer and dryer. The hot tub was not working properly. Even though it was inconvenient to deal with the uncleanliness of the cabin, we still had a great time.

Nice secluded getaway

The property is beautiful with lots of trees and a great view of Pike’s Peak. It was really easy to find and we loved how secluded it was. We were there in the winter with snow. As described, you do need four wheel drive if it snows. The drive is long so I don’t suggest parking at the bottom and carrying your supplies up. The description listed a space in the garage to park one vehicle but we did not have that. It was hard to find the key for the garage and when we did, found parking in it was not an option. The cabin is cozy and stays warm. Plenty of space for four adults, although we wish the secondary bedrooms had larger beds. The master bedroom was king size and great, but the other room’s beds were small and uncomfortable for adults. Plenty of small beds for kids. Kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need, including a dishwasher. There are plenty of linens and blankets. I gave the cleanliness a 3 because we felt the counters, bathrooms and other surfaces had not been wiped and cleaned as well as they should have with stickiness and crumbs and dried food splatters. Easy enough to clean ourselves, but should have already been done. There had also been some perishable food left in the refrigerator we assume by the previous guest, but left it in case the owners were using the space. My AT&T cell service was very spotty but the phones with Verizon seemed to work just fine. The communication with emergency contacts given was great. We had a random plumbing issue and when we emailed about it received a call back and solutions and a resolution very quickly. We would stay here again and would love to see it in the summer or fall. There were plenty of Aspen’s on the property that I bet are really pretty at that time of year.

Nice Secluded Cabin!

This place was great for a getaway in the middle of nowhere! It is a little drive into the woods, secluded but perfect. We literally had deer grazing in the back while we sat on the porch and watched, wonderful!
