The Rose Door Retreat w/ Huge King Bedroom Suite

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow home in the Rosewood Neighborhood of Columbia. The open concept living, dining and kitchen has plenty of seating for your family and friends. The guest bathroom is spacious and shared by the two queen guest bedrooms. There is a laundry room and a spacious king size main bedroom suite at the rear of the house complete with a walk-in closet, large bath with an equally large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. This house was recently renovated and added onto and is a very large feeling 1,700 square feet. Classic comfortable furniture and decor fill the home with a hint of USC Gamecock pride and good old fashioned southern charm. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the front covered porch overlooking the quiet neighborhood with parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway and free parking on the street.

The living, dining, and kitchen are open concept with an internet enabled RokuTV (no cable), seating for 6 at the dining table and an additional 4 at the kitchen peninsula. The brand new kitchen is packed with supplies, making a homemade meal is no problem here. The guest bathroom is split with a sink and linen closet in the first space and the toilet and shower in the next (there is no tub in the house). There are two queen size bedrooms, one is slightly larger than the next but each have spacious closets and new bedding.

The hallway leading to the rear of the house has a laundry room with mini fridge, iron and ironing board along with laundry supplies and the hot water heater. The remainder of the home is dedicated to the king size main bedroom suite. The bedroom is large and airy with four windows, a navy upholstered king bed, bedside tables, lamps, dressers, and a 43` RokuTV (no cable). There is a large walk-in closet, separate linen closet, and a spacious private main bathroom with a large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room.

A door off of the hallway leads to the fenced-in back yard where you will find an outdoor table with seating for 4 and a propane BBQ grill. The yard is a work in progress and future updates are planned. The shed in the yard is not for guest use.

The house is close to the University of South Carolina and Williams-Brice Stadium.

Car is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia but it`s easy to get a taxi service, Uber or Lyft.

There is also a city bus service called The COMET.

The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without a refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser.

No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund.

You must be 25 years of age or older to book one of our homes.

While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion.

Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without a refund.

No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.

No illegal substances or activities on the premises.

A starter amenity package is provided for each reservation. These items are intended as a complimentary starter supply only and may not be replenished during the stay.

Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages.

For stays longer than 21 days, we charge an additional cleaning fee. If the house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, we will charge a fee that covers the additional expense.

Early check-in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.

Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment.

If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.
