With that said, this stay was "beautifully boring" - that is to say, everything was exactly what we were hoping for and expecting. No nasty surprises like mystery stains, broken amenities, or rowdy neighbors. Plenty of towels. There was even a nice little backyard that our kids used to run off a little energy. We were in town for the skate park, which is only about 15...

The location is very convenient—about 10 minutes from the airport and major shopping areas, and roughly 15 minutes from the UAB campus.
