Hi David. I'm happy to hear you guys enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry you thought it wasn't fair that you had to pay 72. Someone bled on the king bed and it went all the way down to the mattress protector. Blood won't come out and we had to replace the king comforter and all the sheets as well as the mattress protector. That cost us much more than 72 so we thought only charging you 72 was generous on our part. But I'm happy you guys overall enjoyed your stat!

We actually do provide coffee, creamer, sugar and anything needed for coffee but maybe the cleaner forgot to stock it? In the future please let us know of any issues because things do come up and we want our guest to be comfortable and will always respond kindly and promptly! I'm' so sorry to hear that our place wasn't up to your standard but I was happy that the cleaning lady was done just a few minutes after your check in time. I thought we all had a great rapport so Im suprised you didnt make us aware of any issues. If you would of let us know we would of had someone come right away and take care of any of the issues. Hi Jeanine. I am very sorry you wont be returning. I am also sorry that the hot tub wasnt operational. It is a newer and rarely has issues but sometimes it does and that is out of our control. Its also out of our control when it can be fixed. That is why we state in our listing and our contract that we dont discount stays if the hot tub isnt working. That way everyone knows when they book and agree to this policy. So again I apologize that it wasnt working for the majority of your trip. Im sure it was disappointing but I hope you change your mind and give us a another chance in the future! Thanks again for staying and for neing great guests. We would welcome you back anytime!

Im happy to hear you guys overall had a good experience! To address some of your constructive feedback: Besides a few end tables the furniture is honestly brand new to just a few years old The property has 80 acres, a 12 acre lake, barn and cabin among many other things so the 10 page document was made to HELP not be a burden to guests. It helps guests to be prepared when coming and help them like you mentioned not get lost because theres no cell reception, know what amenties are in the cabin, how to use the fireplace, etc. We made it and share it because we want our guests to have the best experience possible and a big part of that is being prepared and knowing what to expect and think about things you might want to bring. The early check is optional and again we do it for our guest convience. For a few extra dollars you can check in 3 hours early (which most places dont allow) and if the cabin isnt ready you can enjoy the 12 acre lake, barn and 80 acres until they are done cleaning. I would also disagree with the statement the barn is maintained. It is cleaned after every guest and is as advertised! I am glad you enjoyed your stay though and thanks for staying!

Hi Tonya Im sorry you felt that way about the beds, the check out time and game barn. We send a very thorough check in packet on the day of the booking and encourage guests to read it so there's no confusion on any of those issues plus many more. Our listing is 100% accurate and addresses each of those. The beds and spaces are 100% accuracte on the listing in our check in packet. I feel with 4 bedrooms more than one family can stay comfortably because weve done it many times as well many other guests but we are installing a new bunk bed this year that will have higher weight limits. The check out time is clearly listed on the site and given in the check in packet and also posted on the fridge at the cabin. Like all listings it is a strict check out time because the cleaners have to get there at 10a.m. and need that whole time to get the property ready for the next guest. The game barn is extra and says so on our vrbo listings and we also send a message immediately upon booking explaining its extra and why it is. Going forward for new bookings we are adjusting the nightly price and including it in future bookings. The internet is high speed fiber optic internet and typically works great and we've never had complaints about it but Im sorry it wasnt functioning correctly during your stay. As explained in the check in packet you can get cell phone reception by turning on wifi calling on your phone and that works great while in the cabin. Thanks for constructive feedback.
