Thank you for the nice review, Kanda. We're glad you had a good time and that your little guy had a good birthday. As far as the outside cameras, our listing does disclose that we have them. We don’t have any cameras inside the condo. We actually disable a lot of the camera functionality when the condo is occupied, so that it doesn't drain the batteries. We don't monitor it or watch any of the video unless something is reported that may benefit from it. The cameras are mostly for our peace of mind when the condo is not occupied. That's when we enable the notifications to let us know if the cameras go off. If you choose to stay at our place again in the future, please remind me and we will turn off the cameras during your stay.

Jackie, I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay at our condo. I’m going to address each of your complaints below: DISTANCE FROM RIVER - Our listing has never stated that it was a 5 minute walk from the river. What it has always stated is that it’s about one mile away from the river. I’ve walked it myself in about 18 minutes many times. There are other crossings that are a little bit further out. On April 29, you asked me on VRBO what the distance was to the river, and I replied that the nearest river crossing (Neals Crossing) was about 1 mile away and that it would be a 15-20 minute walk. STOVE - You called me about the stove on Monday evening, after 9 PM, and I got on the phone with a maintenance tech to come out there the following morning. I even came up with a contingency plan, in case it was something major and emailed you about it early Tuesday morning. You replied back saying that the stove WAS working, that the electrical plug wasn’t in all the way, and that pushing it in had fixed the issue. So, I cancelled the maintenance tech. We have had no complaints about the stove at all. POOL SLIDE - I checked with the HOA about the pool slide, and they are currently working with a contractor to get it repaired. That’s something completely out of our control. COUCH - We’ve had no complaints about the couch at all. We spend quite a bit of time up in Concan, as well, and we’ve never noticed any smell. I will have our cleaning crew check on it. We did just get a brand new futon a couple of months ago. ANTS - We have never seen ants in the condo. We have a pest control service that comes out every month, exactly because we don’t want to have problems with bugs in the house. While we’re talking about ants, I will tell you that our cleaning crew told us that when they walked into the condo after you checked out, there was trash and food all over the floor. That could certainly attract ants. Most of our guests take the trash out, which is listed on the Check Out Procedures, and leave the condo in decent shape. We’ve never had any complaints about ants or any other bugs. FRONT DOOR CODES - We’ve never had problems with the door codes. I see on the activity log that an invalid code was entered a few times throughout your stay, and then the correct code was entered, and the door unlocked. I also gave you the code to the lockbox, so that you could get the actual key and didn’t have to deal with the keypad codes. MATTRESSES – We haven’t had any complaints about the mattresses. We go up quite a bit ourselves and sleep on those mattresses too. Which also reminds me that you emailed us on VRBO and asked us to EXTEND your stay the day before you checked out. We weren’t able to extend it, but if you were having such a bad experience, why would you want to stay longer? We responded to all your emails promptly and always answered the phone when you called, so we're a bit disappointed by your rating of our condo.
