“Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. Couldn’t fault it”

“Perfect place for a getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the host who straight away recommended places to go for dinner. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had a full English cooked for us which was spot on as we departed to climb scafell. We definitely would stay at this hotel again when we next visit the lakes ”

“I had a room with paper-thin walls. I could hear my next-door room neighbors late into the evening...they were just having a normal decibel conversation but the walls were so thin between us that it was all disruptive to falling asleep. I found the main manager when I checked in a bit off-putting. Her Fri comment that "I'm off after today and I need it" (in so many words), typified her manner throughout all interactions. “There were many issues with our stay here. 1. The owners messed with our stuff while we were out. 2. The toilet could only be flushed about 1x per hour. The owner said this was normal. 3. They do not even serve breakfast much less have a free one. 4. There is no airflow in the rooms and they do not have fans. While this is a relatively cheap place to stay, you will likely pay with a lack of comfort”
