“The name says it all. Celebrated my sons 21st birthday with a weekend of golf and boating with his friends and we all enjoyed our downtime at the Hidden Gem. Pool, games, the bar, and the open floorplan with huge bedrooms helped make a fun weekend even better. The host was as perfect as the house. I would absolutely go back for our next stay in the area.”

“The bed linens and towels seemed quite fresh. The room was a bit grimy --I didn't really want to touch the greasy light switches. Staff were courteous but with poor personal presentation (non-professional and grungy looking clothing, etc. --management should provide company shirts and slacks, informal is ok but should look clean and fresh from desk clerks to kitchen staff). Overall, just barely ok for a very basic night's stay but the price should be about $15-20 less per night to reflect...

“We had a great night until we discovered the shell of a bed bug on my husbands shoulder in the morning. We searched the sheets and mattress but found no other signs of bed bugs. As soon as we got home we used rubbing alchol to wipe all our shoes belts luggage and all wipe able items that we had in the room. All clothing items we put in the dryer on high for 3 hours. Just in case.”
