“The accommodations in the “Eagles Nest” were perfectly fine for our 2 night stay. If we go again we would try to get one of the cabins for a more secluded stay as they are a little bit away from the lodge vs staying in the lodges. Overall the property and room were very quiet, the owners were very nice and it was perfect for seeing the Black Bears in Orr, MN.”

“surprisingly this lodge has been on elbow lake for a century. The location is fairly isolated and has good access to the lake. It is the type of place that beckons as a near wilderness experience. We will try to return in the future.”

“We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and this was one of the cleanest coziest places we have stayed. The kitchen, bathrooms and living areas were all very clean. There were many little extras like bikes, water equipment, etc. Very nice sturdy docks with bummer protection which is important to us traveling with our fishing boat. Very accommodating for our every need. Owners are right next door, but respective of our time and of our two dogs traveling with us. I would gladly stay at this...

“This place is so great and the grounds are beautiful. We had some last minute change of plans leaving me to bring my mother, toddler, and dog on vacation without my husband. Our dog is a bit skittish ever since he was attacked by another dog a couple years ago, and the initial cabin we were in was too close to the busy landing for him - totally our fault.
