I finally went on Expedia and was able to book a room that way. When I called the hotel directly to confirm less than 10 minutes after booking through Expedia, everything went south. “Our room was clean, and the whole place seemed well kept up and clean. Of particular note was the lady who checked us in. She was very helpful. She suggested places to eat and gave us other information. We were very happy with our stay.”

“I stopped for the night on a road trip. I was checked in quickly & the room was sparkling clean. I was bringing the contents of a relative's refrigerator, so I was thrilled to see the larger, apartment-size fridge, not a mini fridge. Everything in the room was very dated, but I didn't care. The mini fridge & microwave worked, and the bed was super comfortable! The staff was just one woman who may have been the owner. She was super nice & helpful.”
