No tea and coffee available. Outside BBQ with full ash-tray and needed cleaning and spruce up. One room was flooded. Owner was nice. Parking was on the property, but not enough spaces for the number of rooms. Definitely overpriced for what it was. Would I stay there again? Probably not! ”

“Issues with checkin, could not checkin untill 6.30pm very annoying. Room was dirty with cockroaches, musty smell. no key was for lock up was provided. TV did not work. Nosies tapping on the wall and windows at night, our children were terrified. pet could not go outside overgrown grass and junk. Stains on the sheets overall very very disappointing. ”

The shower was in the path tab and some of the equipment was on the cheap side like toaster etc. I couldn't recharge our Segway scooter and no option not even the basement to recharge was given to me. I've asked to be contacted by the responsible person to ask politely for other options but was not even contacted like promised the day before. Therefore I was only able to use it for one day. “Room recently renovated so all new amenities in our apartment. Location is excellent , close to beach, surf club and shopping strip. Just a small downfall was traffic noise during the night. There are road works happening at the moment.”

“Mantra is the scum of society. They take your money (card hold) they lie to you and tell you it will be released within 24 hours but really you'll be fighting with them a week later to get your card hold released. Absolutely absurd. I will never stay at any Mantra ever again. The brand damage from this experience of being lied to is unforgettable. Scared for life. I HATE the Mantra!!!!!”

“Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, great location and the pool was nice. Our apartment was well equipped, however it needs a bit of a deep clean as it does have a bit of a smell. The roller blinds have some mould spots on them, the couch cushions were a bit smelly & there was a bit of cobweb on the wall and ceiling in one of the rooms. ”

“Room was clean and comfortable and met all of our needs. But we took the cheapest room available which was a mistake. Our room's balcony overlooked Brisbane Rd. Very noisy and we didn't spend any time on the balcony. Pay the extra few dollars and get a room with a pool view or garden view. They will be much less noisy”
