Top quality getaway
Fabulous cottage, spacious, with high-end fit out. Privately situated overlooking delightful views of trees and rolling hills. A really lovely area to wander along the lanes and a few minutes drive out of the charming town of Bangalow. We were met by our host Derek and very much enjoyed our three night stay.

Wonderful!
My husband and I had a great stay at this wonderful property. Everything was exactly as advertised and super clean! Absolutely beautiful setting, so peaceful! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Excellent
We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The property is so close to Bangalow but you feel far away from the rest of the world. Highlights included the large bath tub, hinterland views, clean property, comfortable modern furnishings and the most friendly chickens who came to say hello on a regular basis. Would highly recommend.

Excellent property and location
The location and proximity to Byron and Bangalow and surrounding scenic drives are excellent. The views are stunning and the accommodation is luxurious. We were impressed and will be back.

One of the most beautiful & exquisitely designed accomodation I’ve experienced. Everything one could ask for, and more. Is catered for in this absolutely beautiful Hinterland cottage. With a magnificent position in one of the most picturesque and breathtaking areas of Byron Bay Shire Hinterland. Complimented with a most warm-hearted family style welcome, from the beginning to throughout my stay. That will see me return to this stunning property and it’s community of wonderful hosts. Quiet boutique getaway with stunning views
This place is totally gorgeous and really has it all. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bath was divine and the bed super comfy. Very clean all throughout which we loved. The views are stunning and the country roads were wonderful to walk down. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or time away from the office. Anna & Nick

Peaceful Quiet Luxurious
The accommodation was excellent with a comfortable king bed and a full kitchen. We were able to just chill at the property which has peaceful views over rolling hills. The house was very quiet with no disturbances or noise. Derek was an excellent host and very attentive to any requests. While close to Byron Bay the location is a million miles from the hustle and bustle of life and perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Amazing stay
We had such an amazing stay in this boutique. Derek was very warm and welcoming on arrival and the views were beautiful each and every day. Would definitely recommend staying here whether it’s a long or short stay. And would definitely be back to stay again soon.

Luxurious accommodation with lovely view
This property is for those who don't need nightlife as it is out of the way down a pot holed road. For me iy was perfect. Accessable to Byron Bay and many restaurants and a spacious, luxurious haven at night. Derek was responsive to any requests.

Sit back and relax
This was a lovely cottage set in Bryons hillsides. Very quiet only the cows and birds to be heard. Fresh eggs were supplied by owners. Some nice little country towns to visit Bangalow and Lismore which is not so small. And then there are larger towns Byron Bay and Ballina on the beach. Cottage also has clothes dryer and line. Lovely verandah out back to relax on. Yes I would differently stay again.

A perfect place to escape
This was initially a weekend away to celebrate my birthday, however we were enchanted by the beauty, charm and spirit of the home and surrounding scenery, and decided to extend our visit. This delightful homestay has all the comforts of home with extra touches of a luxurious hotel. Being self contained, it makes a fabulous place to escape the propaganda of the world’s pandemic. Derek has been a respectful and friendly host; eager to make your stay perfect and we look forward to returning in the future.

Exceptional Weekender
We had an exceptional stay at this gorgeous property. Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, from the spa overlooking the rolling hills to the fresh farm eggs and decent coffee machine. Very peaceful and relaxing while being only a short 10 minute drive to Byron and the beach. We will return again soon.

Bliss bomb
We were lucky enough to escape to Haven Above Byron to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Everything from arrival to departure was above expectations. The cottage is exactly as pictured on the website and the serenity of the surroundings coupled with the convenience of the location made this the perfect getaway. Derek was so welcoming and attentive without being intrusive and was always on hand if needed. We loved it so much that we ended up cooking in the beautifully appointed and well stocked kitchen a couple of times so that we didn't have to leave the cottage. We will definitely be back!

Perfection!
This was the perfect property for us to “escape” to for our 10 year wedding anniversary! We love Byron but didn’t want to stay in town this place is gorgeous clean and a quick and easy drive into town. The views are gorgeous and the bed was so comfy. We will be back!

Lovely accessible cottage in bucolic setting
Very pleasant and thoughtfully equipped wheelchair accessible cottage in a quiet bucolic setting, only 12 -15 minutes to the centre of Byron and less to Bangalow. Perfect for sitting in my wheelchair or on the comfortable lounge on the deck, in or out of the sun, with a glass of wine, a good book, and the gentle sounds of cows mooing in the distance. At night, we enjoyed a restful sleep in the very comfortable king bed. Highly recommended, especially for anyone in a wheelchair with an able bodied partner if wanting to use the well equipped kitchen.

Relaxing Retreat
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay . The interior design is impeccable. The bath is positioned to have a view of the green undulating hills. Delicious freshly laid eggs are provided for breakfast. The 4 poster bed is comfortable with quality sheeting. Too many positives to mention. The veranda is a great place to sit and enjoy a wine. Thanks for looking after us.

Our short stay was not long enough. The cottage was perfect. Beautifully clean and stocked with everything we needed. A short drive to both Byron and the glorious hinterland. Waking up to rolling green hills bathed in the morning light was spectacular. Will definitely be back.

Haven above Byron was exactly what we were expecting from the photos and the photos did not do the views justice! Was lovely to have a bath overlooking the hinterland, and to wake up to the morning sunrise was just magical. Derek was great, and easy to get in touch with :)
