“Economic place to stay half way on the Melbourne to Sydney trip. Clean and comfortable. I travel this route often and always look for something away from the highway to limit the traffic noise. I know from experience that the trucks go all night. This looked to fit that criteria but it's high on a hill with no buffer between the highway and the room even though it's a distance away. So you will have some traffic noise. But very happy apart from that so if you're a heavy sleeper I don't think...

“The service from the manager very exceptional and we had a great chat about cricket (both our teams lost unlosable tests a couple of days later lol). The room itself was quite good, WiFi worked and I was able to connect the TV to other devices well. No issues with the bed. The shower worked well. Probably needs a different style vent system up the top. Very easy walk into town and no road noise. A pleasant experience.”

“It is a lovely retreat for couples or singles with theirs pooches. Surrounded by hills. Close to town but no traffic noise. The only thing we would of liked is an outdoor covered area to watch the lighting and watch the night sky. Restful and relaxing. ”

“We had a wedding to go to close by and a recovery party at the Sir George so we decided to stay at Geralda Cottage. It is a lovely country cottage that is very private with beautiful views. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house unfortunately as we had plenty organised over the weekend, but it’s in a great location and walking distance to town. Everything you need is in the kitchen and we were left with lots of lovely treats which was a nice touch. If there was a negative it would...
