“Everything we wanted! Huge yard, spacious tiddy cottage, surrounded by nature and quiet! Great central location for exploring all the Keweenaw has to offer. We appreciate Riverside Cottage more and more, everytime we visit. (I love that you can hear the river right through your open windows at night.) Make time to walk down to the river and explore a bit. It is goregous! Reasonable rates and great host.”

“What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer!”

The house actually had more supplies than we expected, including some things that came in handy atving around the mountain like the walky talkies.The bed we slept in was very comfortable and cozy. Although there is no ac, it was not needed as the ceiling fans, and the area temps made for a nice cool sleep.The area feels both secluded and accessible. “The cottage was in a great location being within a few blocks of Lake Superior and close enough to drive to Copper Harbor to Brockway Mountain Drive and Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary.
