This was more than your typical vacation rental. We were having major renovations in our home and stayed in this wonderful little house for 3 weeks (with 3 needs to extend our stay). This truly became our home; welcoming, cozy, and quiet. Our “family” was able to remain intact due to the kindness of the owners. We could not have imagined spending 22 days without our little ones. There was nothing better than cuddling up around the woodstove in the evening with a glass of wine to decompress from the day’s happenings. The warmth and coziness of the of the woodstove was enjoyed by “everyone” in the family. We had the best Super Bowl party for 2; Roku TV was great! Everything was provided; complete kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and gas stove. On the back porch was a gas grill and wood for the woodstove. The 3rd floor was perfect for quietly working in the office space. If you needed anything, DG was a 5-minute walk. Quiet, little to no traffic apart from the daily school bus.I would more than recommend this lovely little house for a weekend in the Hudson Valley or an extended stay. You feel at home from the minute that you walk through the door. We could not have picked a better place to stay.Our thanks to Robert and his team! A perfect place to stay for West Point graduate parents; twenty-minute drive.
