Get it all at this Padre Island townhome in the Village on the Green community. A central location with modern, updated spaces in a quiet end unit. Short drive to dining, shopping, and beach.

INSIDE THE RENTAL

Swaying palm trees, plantation shutters, and aqua blue exterior—this townhome oozes a tropical feel.

Open and airy, the two-story living room exudes a relaxed atmosphere with comfy leather sofas and a huge flat-screen TV. Tile floors flow throughout the space, and fun beach decor adorns the walls.

Feed your friends and family in the updated and well-equipped kitchen, boasting granite countertops, full-size appliances and tons of cabinet space.

The six-person dining table is the perfect gathering spot for a meal. If you have a crowd, four more can sit on barstools at the kitchen bar.

Get your towels dry for the next day’s beach trip in the laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer. A half bathroom has a pedestal sink.

When the sun sets, put yourself to bed in the master bedroom featuring a king bed, 40” flat-screen TV, and bright blue walls reminiscent of the nearby ocean. The master bathroom is outfitted with a tiled shower and large vanity.

Gorgeous reds invoke feelings of a Texas sunset in the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and 40” flat-screen TV. Next door, another full bath provides plenty of room for getting ready in the morning with a vanity and tub/shower combination.

Tuck the kids in for the night in the third bedroom, where teal walls and two sets of full-over-full bunk beds create a cool atmosphere. The third bedroom also has a 40" flat-screen TV.

On the patio, cook dinner on the gas grill, and then dine al fresco at the two picnic tables. The townhome’s location at the end of the complex means there’s ample peace and quiet.

THE LOCATION

Cool off from the Texas heat in the shared swimming pool or escape the sun under the cabana with lounge chairs.

Bring your clubs too, and challenge yourself on the 9-hole golf course at the Padre Island Country Club, which is open to the public.

Fill up on fresh seafood, hamburgers, and a wide variety of other cuisines at nearby restaurants. The Dragonfly (6 minutes on foot), Veranda Restaurant and Bar (9 minutes on foot), and Padre Island Burger Company (10 minutes on foot) are all within walking distance.

When you’re ready for sun and surf, head over to Padre Balli Park (6 minutes) for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports.

Still bored? The island also has tons of other great activities, like birding, horseback riding, kayaking, kiteboarding, surfing, and miniature golf.

**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). House was decent. Not very clean. None of the service for tv’s worked. Dishwasher had awful smell.

The place was beautiful and the artwork was amazing! It was spacious & could have been one of our favorite stays, but the problems were ridiculous. There was no internet or cable, so none of us could relax at the end of the day. No attempt was made to correct this. The ceiling fan in the downstairs master did not work. The door to the garage was broken. The kitchen sink disposal did not work, and the sink would not drain. It was horrible. It was obvious by the tools under the sink they were aware of this. There is no hot water in the showers. Only the first person to shower could get semi hot water. No trash bags. How do you not leave trash bags at least 1 in the trash can and 1 for us to clean up before leaving. Ridiculous. We couldn't even sweep the floors. The broom had been taped together because it was broken. No pot holders to take food in and out of the oven. Seriously. Not even a can opener. Virtually every kitchen drawer as empty. I don't expect a lot, but the basics we do expect. The master bedroom downstairs the carpet by the nightstand was either full of rust, blood or vomit. That same side of the bed the head board needs to be fixed. It is loose and any small movement would cause it to bang around and hit the wall so annoying. The contact number was disconnected. Could not lower the AC. We tried to reach out for help but none arrived. Handles on the dressers were broken. Lights to garage, staircase & kit sink didn't work. Very disappointing. No communication!

Carpet in house was filthy, feet would get black after walking on it. Living room shutters were broken. Pictures on website were not accurate. Couldn’t get help from local Vacasa manager.

Stains in the carpet, furniture, worn out, issues with watching TV and remote control was dead. Dishwasher began leaking all over the floor when we turn it on and check out bedrooms don’t even have a mattress cover, instead they just put the fitted sheet directly over the mattress. Not only is this less comfortable, it also raises some sanitary issues. Property located in a great location. Having a pool is convenient.

* The house had many items that did not work. TV in the downstairs bedroom. Burnt out lightbulbs in the bathroom and bedrooms. * Parking instructions did NOT include those cars parked outside in the "marked parking spot, or guest parking" MUST have a parking permit. Therefore, our car was almost towed away. We had to beg the driver not to tow the car ($400 towing and recovery fee) until we spoke to the VRBO representative. * The pull-out sleeper sofa had corn nuts (candy) all over the mattress. There was NO proper cleaning of that sleeping area. * One sofa was so worn out that when my 72-year-old family member sat on it, he could not get off it without assistance. * Garage was dirty/sandy. * Entry area was very dirty and had spider webs. Needed some upkeep. * Major road construction blocked the entry area to this condo complex. While we could get in, we had to take a gravel road entry - it was raining, and our car got muddy/dirty. Driving on this roadway at night made it extra dangerous - no lighting, street barrels, etc., along the roadway and to the entry of the condo complex. The website did not advise about any road construction. On the upside, the owners allowed an early check-in. Lessons Learned
