Leeward Cove Cottage è una proprietà sul lungomare a due piani al primo piano che è un posto fantastico per il weekend o per alcuni mesi! Questo piccolo ma accogliente complesso ha tutto. Sei a pochi passi dalla spiaggia ma hai anche un grande molo da cui pescare e scali in barca disponibili in base al primo arrivato, primo utilizzo. C'è anche una piscina delle giuste dimensioni per questo complesso che è la vera gemma nascosta sulla nostra isola.

INTERNI
L'unità stessa ha una cucina ben attrezzata e sono forniti asciugamani e lenzuola. Sono inoltre disponibili servizi moderni come un lettore Blu-ray DVD e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Al piano inferiore si trova la cucina soggiorno e sala da pranzo, nonché un bagno completo e lavatrice e asciugatrice. Le due camere da letto sono entrambe situate al piano superiore e condividono un mezzo bagno. Una camera ha un nuovo comodo letto king size e l'altra è arredata con un letto matrimoniale. C'è anche un divano letto matrimoniale per altri due ospiti su cui dormire.
Inoltre viene fornito con aggiornamenti moderni come spine di ricarica USB nelle camere da letto e nell'area del bar della cucina e Smart TV con Roku e accesso a HULU, Netflix, Amazon ecc.
Non perdere questa accogliente unità con due camere da letto a un prezzo eccezionale!

We love the overall location of this property with the bay in back and very close to the beach. The family enjoyed the dock on the backside for fishing and use of the outdoor grills for cooking meals. Only complaint I have was the bed was uncomfortable.

Issues with neighbors

The condo itself was clean and as expected for the price point. However, the listing didn’t include the HOA rules about no children under 14 ever allowed in the hot tub. We found out upon arrival after the HOA president immediately scolded us before our kids even had so much as their feet in the water. We were alone in the pool area, not interrupting anyone. She came from across the courtyard to confront us. She was not pleasant, and later made comments to other permanent residents about how she disliked renters in front of us while smoking cigarettes with her dog off leash in the common area (two violations of her own rules). We did not feel welcome. Padre escapes listened to our complaint and promised to update the listing, although, we were told the HOA rules have been in place for several years. Being that we stayed in the condo over a holiday, we weren’t able to resolve the issue during our stay. I don’t blame Padre Escapes for that, but staying on those conditions ruined the trip.

Recommend this cottage. Great location.

Enjoyed our stay in this cottage. We got enjoy fishing on the pier at night and the beach during the day. This cottage is just a few minutes drive to the beach. Great location and will definitely go back!

Great little place on a canal near the beach

This is a double row of condos with a pool in between and a dock on the canal at the end. The bedrooms are upstairs with kitchen/living room area downstairs. Shower/bath is downstairs as well. It is pretty close to the Michael J. Ellis beach--close enough for me to walk the dogs there in the mornings. It had everything we needed and the management is incredibly responsive and helpful. It is billed as pet friendly, but just be aware that any HOA rules that apply to pets are strictly enforced. You can also contact the management for other pet friendly properties.

Enjoy the property and location just not to fond of the ones who live their full time. They make you feel uncomfortable in the pool and make you feel like you can't enjoy yourself because you have to be quiet or they complain.

This location was absolutely perfect...!!! It felt like home & we didn't want to leave! The unit was right across from the pool/ hottub & faced South, so it received good light. It was only a few steps from the Canal & dock, great for fishing! And only 2 blocks from White Cap beach (8-10 minute walk or 1 minute by vehicle)! There were 2 strong storms while there & pool maintainance came the next morning to clean the pool & hottub, both days. The neighborhood is quiet & safe; and the live-in tenets were friendly, talkative & respectful! We found many fishing buddies while there. They were pet friendly & other vacationers/tenets had dogs as well. The internet was very fast & TV had built in apps. The couch/bed was comfey. The other mattresses could have been better because they were springs. They could be replaced with a mattress like purple, Temperpedic, or Avocado. I did have to do some cleaning, especially of dust on surfaces & behind TV and the stove top/knobs, when arriving. The fabric seats were very dingey & need a professional cleaning. The furniture/decorations were very beachy & cute. The spring chair was a little dangerous, as it tipped over when we leaned back in it! The kitchen accommodations were good. They provided lots of cooking items, but could have been of better quality. *The dishwasher didn't work & was not fixed during our visit, so we had to hand wash everything. The property company was made aware. Linens were nice & fresh & we were given ample towels. The washer & dryer worked, but it was very loud (think it needs a tune up), but happy to have one! We will definitely come back to this location! Thank you to the owners & VRBO.

My getaway

The cottage was great I love how the water was just a short walk away from the room that being the biggest reason why I chose it I love to fish. Other things i like was it had kitchen and washer and dryer there was a nice little pool just outside the door for the kids to play while i fished into the night might have to book again in a few months.

Honest review

I am easy to please so I did enjoy this condo overall but I thought I’d list some honest pros and cons for others considering staying here. Pros: clean and nice pool and hot tub RIGHT outside front door, Also right outside your door is great fishing off the dock; my daughter caught 5 in one evening!, A/C worked nice so we were nice and cool, tv’s were both smart TVs and worked, good shower pressure, and I was a little late checking out via email and wasn’t charged another night; I’m so thankful they worked with me on that. Cons: it did smell like cigarette smoke until the AC ran a while it got better and wasn’t bad for the rest of the trip, it is more outdated than the pictures let on in my opinion, the couch and beds both creek with every movement which only bothered me bc I have a newborn baby waking up to anything and everything, the upstairs tv had no remote so was kind of hard to work. Overall I wouldn’t complain and we enjoyed our stay but I also just think it’s less luxury than the pictures and price let on.

Outdated

Had an old mildew smell. Someone before had been smoking in unit so wasnt a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend people to read reviews before booking. Place was definitely not worth the price

Fishing vacation on Mustang/Padre Island

My son in law and I stayed in this cute condo for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. While the weather was less than ideal because of the wind, the condo and furnishing were superb and had everything we could want to make our stay enjoyable. The condo was very clean and tidy and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our hosts were gracious and kept in touch to make our stay perfect. Would definitely book this property again.

Best of Everything

Condo was everything we wanted for our vacation. Access to the pier where the kids loved fishing. Our unit was right across from the pool. Short distance to the beach. We loved our stay!
