Questa unità vanta una zona pranzo e un soggiorno aperti. La cucina è completamente fornita di tutto il necessario per cucinare il pescato del giorno. La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e la seconda camera da letto due gemelli, entrambe le camere hanno il proprio bagno. C'è anche un divano letto matrimoniale nel soggiorno. Questa unità si trova di fronte alla spiaggia con una splendida vista sul Golfo. Area picnic con barbecue, piscina condominiale, passerella per la spiaggia nel centro del complesso. Questa unità non accetta animali domestici ed è consentito fumare solo all'esterno. Rendi questa la tua destinazione di vacanza, è semplicemente perfetta! Nascosti tra le dune dorate dell'Isola Mustang, i condomini Beachhead godono tutti di una fantastica vista sul golfo. Really nice condo close to everything and easy access to the ocean. Everything ran seamless through booking to checkout. Kids enjoyed the pool and games at the amenity center. We had a golf cart delivered and ran great. Made it supper easy to get around. Would stay stay here again in a second on our next visit to Port A.

PortAEscapes staff made it very easy to checkin/out in this recent stay by making some changes. My favorite beachhead unit to stay at.

Port A Getaway

Decent place to stay. Right on the beach. Wish you didn’t have to pick up the keys at a separate place. Maybe change to keypad entry? A few bugs but that’s expected near the water. Beds weren’t the most comfy but overall the stay was satisfactory. We would stay again.

The location is the best, probably around 200 yards and you’re standing in the Gulf of Mexico. The other big plus is the giant swimming pool. The Condos are clean and sleep 6

Condo is on the 3rd floor and no elevator (should probably be listed in the description so people with mobility issues are aware) Location was absolutely PERFECT! Not too far from the restaurants but far enough away from the crowds.Condo itself could use some refreshing. Bathtubs were not clean, master could use a shower head extender (I'm 5'4" and it hit me in the shoulders), had to wash the dishes we used BEFORE we used them as they were not clean, dishes themselves could use a refresh - many bowls and plates had chips and cracks. Give the guests more than 1 towel per person! We were a family of 4 and only received 4 towels. Parking was TIGHT. Should probably elaborate more on the parking situation in the description of the condo. We brought my mid size SUV and we had to move the car each time we wanted to get in and out.

Reviewer Comments: Well, it was not fun entering our condo and noticing water coming from the ceiling on one of the restroom floors and having maintenance in our room and having to wait/slowdown our plans because of this. So we didn’t use the restroom with the twin beds because of the water coming out for the ceiling making everything wet, maintenance was not able to fix the problem during our stay and placed a huge bucket in the small restroom to collect the water. In addition, we weren’t able to open the door fully because it would get stuck on the floor. The other restroom with the queen bed would get stuck on the floor as well but was able to get it open all the way with some force. The tub in that restroom didn’t drain well, so each of us had to wait to use the shower so we didn’t have to stand in dirty water and the parking was a little tight for a truck. On a positive note, it was clean, good size condo for 4 people and it has a great view with a nice boardwalk to the beach. And every issue we had looks fixable but just didn’t expect these issues.

Great Location but unit was lacking

Beachhead Condos are right on the coast and an easy walk to the beach. Views from this unit's balcony are great. My wife didn't have to wait on us boys so we could meet her down on the beach when we were ready. Great views from everywhere on the property--especially the pool. The unit was a little disappointing. The areas that were updated seemed to be lower quality but ok. Some areas like parts of the master bath may be original from 1969. The shower drips and the shower head is only about 5 feet high so there was a lot of bending to shower. Bathrooms are small and need more storage options. Lots of closets but no dressers in the bedrooms. No TVs in bedrooms either. No beach equipment or beach towels provided. Pre-check in communications said no bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer is provided (What?). After finding a way to bring that stuff, it was provided (except the hair dryer). Bathroom door handle and door were coming off. Made maintenance request and it was fixed in hours. No digital lock so you have to pick up, drop off, and carry a physical key with you all the time. The parking spot for this unit only fits one car and is tight due to bulkheads from upgrades to other units. Love Beachhead but probably won't return to this specific unit.

The pool was great and the location to the beach was just a walk over the boardwalk. Unfortunately the unit was dirty. The floor was not cleaned and felt like it hadnt been swept, felt sandy. When we got into the queen bed, there was sand in the sheets. Sheets were definitely not changed from the previous guest. We slept on top of the bed with our own blankets. The towels did not smell fresh. Lastly the kitchen faucet had very little water pressure. I guess we just dealt w it bc we were at the beach.

Great Views but . . .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property site and other buildings are well maintained. The pool and community areas are well kept, clean and well landscaped. The community is quiet and located close to town. The large balcony on our unit has a great view. However, inside the unit has most likely not been updated since the 70s. The light fixtures are outdated flourescent bulbs with slow and harsh illumination. You can not use the ceiling fan without activating the harsh overhead light. The light fixtures in the bathrooms are rusted and hold the only outlet. We decided not to use that outlet.Both toilets do not flush well and are not secure so expect movement when you sit. Sink drains lack a stopper and both backup quickly. When the water drains a wift of sewer gas greets you. The wallpaper or veneer of the panelling in the bathroom has been stapled to close the peeling. The kitchen does have good appliances and is evenly stocked. We couldn't get the door to the balcony to lock. This unit's site is great. We spent most of our time outside. However, the interior could use updating. Fortunately, we have found better places for our fall, winter and future stays.
