The Island Hotel Near Beach Port Aransas
This is an inexpensive motel. It should be compared with inexpensive motels. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The sheets on the beds appeared to be clean. That right there is a pretty good start. The beds were comfortable. Pillows left something to be desired, but did I mention this is ...

Double check which room you select. I was under the impression that my room would have a kitchenette. Plus there was a musty smell in my room.

The hot tub was cold and low of water, the first room we were in the shower the water barely came out of the shower head, and the carpet floors need a good deep clean throughout the entire hotel..the hotel is dated and needs a good remodel. Ocean's Edge Hotel, Port Aransas,TX
Was a fantastic stay, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean. Loved the pool and the dog park. Will be back :)
