Stone Built Studio Cottage a Maerdy, vicino a Bala, nel Galles del Nord - Zona rurale tranquilla con passeggiate e fauna selvatica dalla porta del cottage
Comodo, accogliente con riscaldamento a pavimento e immerso in pascoli montani a circa 1.000 piedi di altezza, questo monolocale con una camera da letto (un letto matrimoniale, due posti letto per due persone) ha una vista sulla valle e sulle montagne circostanti. Il cottage è situato in 47 acri di terreno privato, essendo pascoli e brughiere con vista panoramica verso Moel Famau a nord e la catena del Berwyn a est e verso la catena Snowdonia e Cadair Idris a ovest e sud. Situato alle porte del Parco Nazionale Snowdonia (ai margini della regione di Hiraethog) ma nonostante la sua posizione rurale è strettamente accessibile alla strada statale A5 e solo 35 miglia da Chester, 13 miglia a Langangen, 9 miglia a Bala (con il suo lago e sport acquatici) e 18 miglia da Betws -y- Coed. C'è un pub locale (il Goat Inn) a pochi passi dal cottage dello studio e favolose colazioni e ottima cucina (orari di pranzo e serate occasionali) presso la fattoria biologica Rhug un paio di miglia lungo la strada.
Ideale per passeggiate dalla porta principale, un bicchiere di vino o caffè dalla macchina da caffè nespresso davanti al bruciatore di legna nel giardino d'inverno godendo la vista o all'esterno se il tempo lo permette; o come base accogliente a cui tornare dopo una giornata passata a camminare o avventure all'aperto con la vicina Get Wet Adventure Company o il rafting in acque bianche.
Sono stato solo in grado di impostare un prezzo notturno e un prezzo settimanale. Sono previsti sconti per la terza notte in poi e per un soggiorno dal lunedì al venerdì. Si prega di informarsi e invierò un preventivo rivisto.

Faultless piece of serenity

Absolutely stunning location, I'm genuinely so gutted of how short my time was staying here as me and my partner were away most days from the cottage. Tŷ Bach was so clean and tidy, everything you needed was there. The water gets hot in an instant. Access and parking is easy for how rural and "cut off" you'd expect it to be. The main bridge was being fixed during our visit but it was still easy for both me and my partner to get up to it, which Mari kindly let us know about and gave me directions beforehand.Some people would say the wifi isn't the fastest or the TV reception might be patchy at times but that for me is completely expected nor would it bother me when you are in such a beautiful part of the world.Didn't manage to actually meet the hosts nor the donkeys this time around but I definitely will be back again :)Diolch yn fawr

Perfect Stay

We had the most perfect stay at this beautiful, private cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful retreat. The cottage was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything I could possibly need. The surroundings were serene, offering complete privacy and a true escape from the hustle and bustle.The cozy interiors, comfortable furnishings, and warm ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. The outdoor space was equally delightful…The hosts were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, ensuring my stay was seamless and stress-free. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for a tranquil, private getaway, this cottage is absolutely perfect!

Klein maar fijn!

Wij zijn 10 dagen op deze plek geweest en hebben het er goed gehad. De aankomst was spannend. Wij kwamen van de kant van Bala en dan lijkt het of je aan het einde van de wereld komt. Vooral het laatste stenige pad naar boven op de heuvel is uitdagend. Dankzij de uitleg van Mari konden we het goed vinden. Bij het maken van uitstapjes is de A5 (de andere kant op) dichtbij. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving. In het huisje liggen wandelkaarten en suggesties voor wandelingen. Het huisje is klein, maar goed verzorgd. Wij voelden er ons thuis. De eigenaars wonen ernaast, maar je hebt maximale privacy. Het uitzicht is geweldig! Het zou wel handig zijn als er geschreven instructies waren voor de verwarming, oven en wasmachine.

Grandiose Aussicht

Erst mal muss man dort hinkommen. Von der A5 gegenüber vom Goats Inn B&B die schmale Straße runter und dann ca 2km geradeaus. Wenn man das kleine Hinweisschild zum Cottage am Strompfeiler entdeckt, rechts rauf. Dann geht es ca 200m eine schmale, steinige, holprige Zufahrt aufwärts. Nicht schön für mich und meinen Fiat 500. Das Cottage ist klein, einfach und rustikal, mit zusammengewürfelten Möbeln eingerichtet. Einige Bereiche musste ich erst mal nachwischen. Ausstattung der Küche ist gut. Es gibt Fußbodenheizung, die aber leider nicht auf die einzelnen Räume gesteuert werden kann. Im Schlafzimmer ist es dann so warm wie im Bad. Im Wintergarten ist gar keine Heizung. Da muss man den Holzofen feuern, damit man es warm hat. Holznachschub bekommt man auf Nachfrage. Internet/WLAN ist recht instabil in dieser abgeschiedenen Gegend. Download meiner Tageszeitung hat schon mal 2 Std gedauert. Positiv ist die Ruhe und die unglaublich schöne Aussicht. Die Vermieter sind auch nett.

Perfect getaway

The cottage is exactly how it looks in the pictures, absolutely stunning views and perfect for our little getaway! Everything you could need for 2 people and with many activities, walks and places to visit nearby. Mari couldnt have been more helpful and the sheep, donkeys and adorable ducks are a great addition. Would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! Very quiet with beautiful views! The only difficulty I had was locating the turn off the A5. It may be helpful to mention to future visitors where the local pub is in relation to where to turn! Not a big issue though!

Had an amazing few days away from the stress of life and enjoyed everything this little house and garden had to offer. Perfect for a break away to relax. Lovely little welcome tray was a nice touch. Host was very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back.

Beautiful

We enjoyed Ty Bach. The location was perfect, the cottage clean and well appointed. Mari was a warm, welcoming host. The views are breath taking and after a day of hiking, we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine and solitude looking over the stunning vista. We will be back for sure.
