Hiking Echo pass section of PCT
Difficult to pass up this invitation to hike Kings Canyon. This footbridge leads to several trails in and around beautiful Zumwalt Meadows. We took the trail to the left, a 1.5 mile, easy hike we pretty much had to ourselves. Be sure to bring bug spray; the gnats were so thick at times we had to keep moving or risk getting carried away during our early morning hike. #windowseat This is a little further on, after departing Las Vegas for San Francisco. The Sierra Mountains are amazing, and appear razor sharp below. Smoke from forest fires is hanging to the horizon. Having that "A" seat gives you a view of the mountains as you fly north. Just a little further, we flew directly over Yosemite National Park, which is amazing no matter what your vantage point might be. #lifeatexpediagroup
