“This was a little cottage tucked away in the woods. If there was a rating for the value of what I paid compared to other homes we stayed at throughout our trip to Maine, I would rate it a 3-star.”

“Great little cabin close to the activity of Acadia and bustle of Bar Harbor, but seemingly miles away from anywhere! Two bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. Bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the living/dining area nice for just unwinding at the end of the day. There is a fire pit area too that looked good for relaxing in the evening, but we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of it. ”

“Except for the miscommunication about check-in (which, I think is more the fault of VRBO and not our host), the stay was perfect! Just far enough out of Bar Harbor to enjoy feeling like we were out in the countryside, but close enough to both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to enjoy both destinations to the fullest! Erin was extremely helpful and quickly responded with kindness and hospitality to every question. Would definitely book again.”

“Beautiful setting in Northern Maine. The check in was super easy. We arrived to a spotless cabin with windows and door open allowing refreshing, pine smelling air into the cabin. The setting couldn't be more beautiful with the cabin nestled in the trees with a river running through the back. Hearing the stream at night through the windows was super relaxing. The cabin is rustic but truly in a perfect story book way. It has everything you need plus a beautiful stone fireplace and wood stove...
