“I usually use Hilton hotels but noticed that this place was getting excellent reviews, so I booked for my one-night stay in Lincoln. Great start. Luke at the front desk gave a warm, genuine welcome without any 'corporate speak' that sometimes sounds like it's from a script. Room very clean with good amenities - has the feel of a company that knows how to please and takes trouble to maintain a high standard. “We really enjoyed staying at The Duke Williams. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the included breakfast was delightful (really loved the blueberry pancakes!), and we loved how close it was to the Cathedral and castle. We also appreciated the sound-proofing of the room and the natural light through the windows. The only thing that was tough for us was the mattress.
