Farm Oasis

Beautiful farm and luxurious dome lodging. I would love to book again and plan to share this gem with others. Looks like a great spot to host a wedding and a great spot for kids (lots of cute friendly goats). I booked with a good friend and we mostly lounged on the patio and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge.

Great unique hideaway

My partner and I just spent one night at Duo Duo farm but had a great time at this unique vacation spot. Everything was immaculately clean and organized. Sijin was a fantastic and attentive host. Definitely plan to return soon!

A great place to stay

Duo duo farm is a great place, we had great time. The dome is clean and neat, the animals are super friendly, the huge kitchen has everything you need, the host left us some fresh eggs fro breakfast. Sijin is a great host. We are ready for our next aventure at dup duo farm.

Great Getaway!

This little treasure is about 20 minutes from Saxapahaw and the Haw River Ballroom. Our host was extremely kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The yurt was very clean and thoughtfully furnished. The attention to detail was incredible; even the toilet seat was heated. The property was gorgeous and peaceful. Hopefully, you will have an opportunity to meet the owner’s dog, Daxiong!

Lovely apartment in fantastic neighbourhood. Close to so much. Cool street with jazz/blues bar right across the street. Very clean and modern inside. Lots of bedroom/clothing storage. Diego was there to meet us with all the instructions. And a super powerful air conditioning for the 35 degree June days. Fast wi-fi and easy to connect. And new windows that make the apartment super quiet. The balcony was nice but with the heat we didn’t use it much. Was very clean when we arrived. The main room could’ve used a comfy chair, in addition to the sofa already there.

Great place to disconnect from from city life for a couple days.Arrived late, easy entry to dome. Super clean and cozy. Mini fridge and coffee/tea area in the dome a bonus. There is 1 remote for the AC/Heater; but after brief trial & error we figured out the controls. The bathroom is surprisingly nice and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Kitchen area has a full sized fridge and sink for each unit and there is plenty of space for prep and a variety of tools to use. Appreciated the coffee and tea available as well as filtered water. We explored day 2 and didn’t see the gate over the bridge that opened to visit with animals. Once we found it, we strolled over to see the cows, goats & geese. The owner was gracious and guided us to an area with freshly laid eggs we could take back for breakfast.Our boys, 10 & 12, had a great time exploring, using the paddle boat & zip line. Enjoyed use of the fire pit in the evenings.We did not use the sauna or hot tub area this trip - but did look clean.Grocery stores are 15 min away - so recommend bringing the basics so you don’t have to leave (although Instacart does deliver there). Salt/Pepper and some spices in the kitchen as well as K-cups. Recommend owner add a property map that identifies the path to visit animals. Otherwise a great farm stay!

Cool experience

The property here is awesome, sprawling, with a LOT to do especially for families with kids. The yurt was so cutely done with so many accessories for entertainment and enjoyment. Incredibly well thought-out, we loved it! The only issue we had with it was the noise - every single little sound outside (and you are close to other yurts and common areas) was loud, and there should have been something posted about noise after a certain hour. There were so many animals which was why we went, and having those to pet and visit was the highlight for my daughter! However, I will say that my daughter was upset and I was quite bothered at the state of care of the goats and sheep. It was explained that the state of their hooves was due to pregnancy and it not being safe to restrain them in the condition. BUT (I have owned horses most of my life) it was so much growth that some had 4"+ stilts, some had inches of curled hoof, and I would argue that having help to shod their hooves is worth the slight risk to help the animals who were very clearly limping around, tripping over feet, and choosing to stand on only 3, etc. Many may not be educated enough to understand, but my daughter and I are and it was very sad to see. Thank you for the unique, fun experience. Your attentiveness and the thought that clearly went into stocking and prepping for guests is wonderful.
