Upon check-in, the employee asked if I needed the ADA room, which I I had booked. I let her know that I booked it because we needed a ground level room because I could not do stairs. She assured me our regular room would be on the first floor. As I was signing the papers, I noticed that our 2 pets were not on the reservation, even though I had originally added them. She then let me know that it would be an additional $40 and they only allow pets on the second floor. This is not ADA accessible if people have to take the stairs, and no elevator available. We finally got to our room and the stairs were extremely steep, making it difficult to use. Once we were settled, 2 hours after check-in, our room phone kept ringing. The phone did not operate, except for the ringing. We used our cellphone to call the front desk. The employee then told us that she watched us on the cameras and noticed we had a cat, and they do not allow cats. Nowhere on their website does it say that. She told us she would call and ask her manager and let us know. She never called back, so it just felt like further harassment. As for our room, it was nasty. The bathroom had not been cleaned, and the tub was filthy. Shampoo running down the walls and hair and dirt on the floor. Our towels had the same hair stuck to them. Our blanket had cigarette burns in it. The room also smells very musty. I would not recommend this place, especially to other traveling families with pets.
