The good: The place is cute, quaint and updated. It is right across the street from the Jefferson Pools (Warm Springs). The bed was among the best of the beds we have slept in while traveling. It was warm and comfortable. We had a wonderful sleep. I highly recommend bringing slippers as the floor was really cold! The bad: Someone texted me a few hours before check-in to tell me that there will not be any staff to check us in and that the restaurant is closed for the season. I asked why we weren't notified in advance which would allow us to decide to continue with the reservation or back out. They said it was because I booked through Expedia that they had no way of contacting me. I travel extensively through Expedia and know there is a way to communicate with me through Expedia. Plus they got my phone number and let me know. They said that the email was too long to be sent via text. They said that all the information is on their website and Facebook. I do not have access to Facebook nor did I see their webpage. I booked through Expedia. They could have texted me to ask me for my email address so they could email me all the details. What's more... the breakfast was chef's choice and would be delivered to the room. They asked for any dietary restrictions so we were able to tell them that. There were no questions about what we might want to drink. They delivered coffee and we both don't drink coffee. I ached for my morning tea. :( Their communication could be improved.
