“We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t have been better and made traveling between Bardstown & Louisville quick & easy. The house is in a quiet area and within walking distance to local restaurants, coffee/bakery, shopping and more. We were happy just spending time exploring Bloomfield. The property was well kept & nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, hot tub was clean, and exactly as described. We’d happily stay here again!"”

“This Country Cabin was wonderful! We felt right at home from the moment we walked in and the kids loved it. They loved the detached game room with tons of things to keep them occupied and OFF their electronic devices for 4 days. It was perfect for 3 adults and 3 kids but could easily accommodate 3-4 more people. Just far enough away to have privacy but close enough to drive 7-8 min if you want to grab some dinner. Plenty of restaurant/quick food choices nearby. An easy 40 min drive to Louisville...

“Cabin was very welcoming. Very clean inside which is great! Except the front door was very dirty. Could be washed or repainted. Over all would most definitely stay again there. Very quiet and beautiful! Thanks for a wonderful night stay!”

“The property was secluded and quite but not too far from the expo center which is where the event we were traveling for was located. The short travel time between the stay and event was nice providing plenty of time to rest before heading back. The cabin had all we needed to prepare meals.”

“This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.”
