“Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “Location fantastic,staff very friendly, breakfast was great parking was ok too. The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . Well my room showed no sign of that, the paint was peeling, the room was noisy, not helped by the fact that we couldn’t close the window. Gary Elelman 9-10 April”

“Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. ”

Breakfast was good, restaurant menu limited, food quality was average, the accommodation is in a beautiful village, unfortunately there is very limited eating establishments within the village. Most staff were friendly and welcoming, overall we wouldn’t stay there again.”

“Stayed two nights 26/27 March. The de luxe double was an excellent room very comfortable bed had a really good night sleep. Bath in the bathroom a positive. Breakfast on first day a full english really well cooked next day on the Saturday had eggs royale really good.”
