“My husband and I travelled through on a motorbike and stayed at the Alpine Gables Resort. We were greeted very friendly and received an unexpected upgrade to a river view room which was just beautiful. We had dinner at the Brumby and enjoyed the entertainment of open mic friday night. Con circa 250 dollari al giorno: -non ti rifanno nemmeno il letto ne' ti cambiano gli asciugamani sporchi (se vuoi che la camera venga pulita devi pagare 35 dollari extra, mentre per avere asciugamani puliti devi portare tu quelli sporchi alla reception.....) -a colazione ti danno il caffe solubile, se vuoi un caffè decente lo devi pagare extra -al ristrorante servizio pessimo (non prendono le ordinazioni, abbiamo dovuto...

“Such a great place to stay. Minutes walking to Nuggets complex for Woolworths and restaurants. Great to be able to use the lounge to sit by the fire place and byo dinner. Definitely would stay again.”

“The room was clean and warm, beds were comfortable with crispy clean linen, the shared bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was fantastic. The drying room and ski/board locker was more than satisfactory and on site parking was convenient also the included buffet breakfast was really nice and all staff were friendly and helpful with the owner/manager and his partner/wife being fantastic hosts. ”

“We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby.”

“The owners are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. And it is a great location, less than 25 minutes to Jindabyne, but a lovely quiet spot. Plenty of food options for dinner as well. And the complimentary breakfast was great. Have no hesitation to recommend. ”
