Careulea Crescent Head

  • Caerulea is a welcoming holiday house with a prime headland location which boasts ocean and mountain views of Crescent Head's famous Point Break and Surfing Reserve. The property boasts five bedrooms, all with built-ins and tow with ceiling fan lights. There is an open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen boasts a glass cooktop, separate wall oven and dishwasher. There is a large lounge room to the front of the house which boasts ocean views from the armchair, this area open's out onto the covered North facing deck and again with ocean views. There is a new bathroom with separate shell shaped bath and shower, vanity and mirror. There is a small laundry nook with washing machine. Downstairs boasts the second shower and toilet and single lock up garage (low cars only) and a space for a box trailer.

    NB - Personal Linen IS NOT Provided - guests must bring their linen in the form of Sheets, Pillowcases and Towels including tea towels and bathmats. Linen hire can be arranged from Kempsey Laundry but we require at least 72 hours notice.

Family holiday

Excellent location. Beautiful view from the awesome balcony. Lots of pots and pans in kitchen. Big open plan loving great for the two families we had. Very basic house. No heating or cooling. Not every room has a ceiling fan. Beds old and not comfortable. We had a great time but for how much it costs, bit disappointing.

Double sized beds were disappointing (would have expected queens at a minimum). Grateful for ceiling fans. Significant dust on fans, window architraves, top of fridge.

The downstairs storage was very handy for keeping beach gear and bikes. Unfortunately the house is in desperate need of a deep clean. The walls are grubby, all door and windows frames are so thick with dust and grime that it over hangs. All blankets in the cupboards need washing. They have stains and smell musty. The blinds have mould and black marks as well. The house is freezing cold which could be alleviated with some oil heaters. One small radiator heater was the only one provided and it didn't feel warm standing in front of it let alone battle the inch gap under the front door.
