Academy Place | Fairy Slipper

Academy Place Fairy Slipper is located around the beautiful Academy Place Courtyard in downtown Crested Butte, Colorado. Its prime location downtown provides easy access to nearly everything that Crested Butte has to offer, from local restaurants to mountain biking trails, from bus transportation to the mountain to souvenir shops. Academy Place is centrally located between Elk Avenue, the main street, and the commercial area with the local grocery store and movie theater. Bus stops for both the Mountain Express and RTA are an extremely short walk from Fairy Slipper, though its location off of the alley provides ample privacy.

Fairy Slipper is a cottage, meaning you would rent the entire home for yourself! It is a three bedroom, ideal for larger families with adult children or groups of couples. This is due to it having a King bed, two Queen beds, and a sleeper sofa rather than twin beds. Going upstairs upon entry reveals the primary bedroom with a King bed and ensuite bathroom containing a large tub and steam shower. On the main floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with large appliances and cookware, a spacious dining table and a large living room with a gas fireplace. Downstairs on the lower level are the other two bedrooms, both with Queen beds and ensuite bathrooms.

Fairy Slipper also has a full sized washer and dryer, onsite parking for two cars in addition to available street parking, and a large living room with a Smart TV and Sonos for music. Each bedroom has its own TV as well for cozy entertainment. The outside space includes a private porch with an outdoor propane grill. The beautiful porch borders the courtyard, giving access to a shared outdoor area within Academy Place. Please note that this unit does not have air conditioning.

Compared to the other Academy Place units, Fairy Slipper is more suitable for those looking for larger beds rather than twin or bunk beds. Additionally, it is accessible via the alley, which provides more privacy and less traffic, and is further from the road. It is frequently booked with Bluebell in the Alley Bundle, including both cottages in a larger rental for a bigger group looking for more than one adjacent cottage.
