Secluded luxury cabin w/ game room & mountain views - close to skiing

  • This gorgeous and secluded home, sitting at an elevation of 9,700 ft., has enough space for everyone! Perfect for a family reunion or a large group of friends spending a mountain vacation together, this rural, yet sleek house has everything you will need to feel comfortable. More than one gas fireplace ensures you a toasty stay during a ski vacation, and the multiple decks allow you and your whole party to spread out and breathe in the fresh air during warmer weather. The mountain views can be appreciated at any time of the year, especially through these tall, floor-to-ceiling windows, and the downstairs entertainment room means you can play games or watch movies during your downtime. One of the decks is conveniently equipped with two comfortable outdoor dining areas, a lounge area made up of a set of inviting sofas, a gas grill, and even a firepit!

    WHAT'S NEARBY
    Strap on your skis and spend your winter vacation at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, a short three-mile drive away, and the surrounding mountains offer several beautiful alpine hiking trails to hit up during the summer months. Downtown Crested Butte is only a tad over four and a half miles south and will give you and your party a taste of civilization if you find yourself needing to hit up a store or dine at a delicious restaurant.

    THINGS TO KNOW
    Due to frequent noise complaints from neighbors, we must ask guests to keep parties small and noise levels at a minimum. Failure to do so could jeopardize rental permissions.

Awesome bachelor/ette weekend!

Had a group for our combined bachelor/bachelorette gathering rent this amazing house! Everything was perfect and exactly as listed. The property management communicated throughout the stay and the check-in/out process was very smooth. We would gladly stay at this property again and recommend anyone else with a group to do the same!

Book club retreat

We were 9 women celebrating 40 years for being in a book club together. We LOVED this amazing house. Plenty of room for gathering as a group. And also lots of space for alone time. We especially loved the outdoor deck nestled among the aspen trees. The house was well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, and a game room with a variety of activities.

Great stay in an amazingly beautiful setting

The house was really perfect for our family of 7 adults and two young children. The only glitch was that the cleaning crew was still there when we arrived at 6:30 pm and was not planning on cleaning out the refrigerator filled with the previous occupants left over cooked food etc. until I requested they do so. The house was nicely stocked with condiments paper goods etc. there was mouse droppings in one of the downstairs bedrooms as well as droppings from some other animal enjoying the outdoor patio furniture - not fun but we were in the mountains after all. Overall great stay. We even got frequent deer visitors.

Amazing house

My family and I loved this house. It is nestled in an aspen grove and an easy drive to town. We made many wonderful memories here and there’s plenty of room for everyone!

Wonderful Home in the Mountains

Overall we really loved the place - incredibly well stocked with everything you need and the layout and bonus room are fantastic for a larger family. It was a bit more challenging to deal with Vacasa on the PM side than past rentals I have done - and there were stickers around that implied we were on camera which was a little strange - other than that I would definately stay again!

This is a fabulous house for our family gathering. Beautiful setting! Would definitely return to it!

Very organized and easy. Descriptions were accurate - no surprises. Property well maintained and property manager checked in mid-week to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to address any issues (there were none!). A great experience.

Needs Cleaning

Nice property but the floors were dirty, the outside deck was not cleaned nor was the outside of the property leaves racked and weeds sprayed. The ovens were filthy and the garage was not swept. Property was not what you expect to get for the price paid.

Summer Time in Crested Butte

Property was fantastic! Great location and a great house for 5 couples or anyone with lots of kids traveling in their group. 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths were the best part although the house was beautiful and very spacious.

Beautiful home

Stayed at this home beginning of August. It was a very beautiful home, great privacy as it resides within an Aspen Grove. Very short ride to downtown and lots of hiking trails, two lakes. Highly recommend this home For a stay in Crested Butte

Ski week

The house was beautiful and clean. It was located in a beautiful Aspen forest with great views. It had a nice big kitchen so we weren’t tripping over each other cooking our meals. Large living area so we could all hang out together. Unfortunately the fireplace in the living room wasn’t working when we were there. Had a nice patio area with a beautiful view.

Weekend getaway

Overall this property is beautiful with lots of room and nice features. The rooms are spacious with plenty of linens, towels, etc. The kitchen is amazing and we were able to enjoy lots of delicious meals with plenty of space and items to use to cook properly. The garage offers lots of space for ski stuff and a large mud room as well. The gaming room downstairs was a nice touch with fun entertainment. The rental company was interesting. First off, few instructions on certain things. It would have been nice to have so we could have relaxed more. Also at about 11pm, the alarm went off for no reason. We were able to get it off and then the next day the property manager arrived unexpected with no notice to inquire about the alarm. Again, no instructions on how to operate the alarm other than small numbers on the alarm system. The property manager said there are “lots of false alarms”. I think Vacasa can do more for these owners. Overall great weekend with friends and highly recommend this place!
