Amazing stay

The day was perfect. The house was beautiful, clean spacious. We had everything we needed to cook our dinners and breakfast hands-down to an amazing place. Location is close to restaurant shops walking distance.

The place was overall clean. But, the ceilings had signs of mold and water damage. Also, the wall had prior damage behind the bedroom door downstairs that was not patched, and the upstairs bath had a piece of the bottom trim missing. The downstairs bathroom shower handle was wonky. We had to tighten it because it was loose and the water wouldn't turn on. It still could use some maintenance. The inside of the oven had grease build up stains, and the dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well. I recommend the owner did some general maintenance, replace appliances, and fix the walls and ceiling.

Spending time with our family made up for the inconveniences we found in the home. Entry was easy, bedrooms were clean and well maintained, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was not clean to our liking, and we had to go buy a few things to clean/disinfect. Carpet seemed to not be vacuumed/ dirty upon arrival. Random items in drawers- there was an old used kcup in keurig, we all assumed if there was a keurig there would be complimentary kcups, but that was just wishful thinking on our behalf. You do have to park up on a hill because there are only 2 parking spaces available. Over all the home accommodated our multiple families and we just made the best of it.

Pictures where misleading

Unfortunately, the cabin was not clean or well maintained upon arrival. The fridge and kitchen were dirty, random items were left in drawers, no dish or hand soap was provided, and the sponge was very old. Several things were broken, including a stove knobs , bathroom outlet and towel bar, the outside grill knobs. There was no propane for the grill or outdoor firepit . We couldn’t get inside after we went out the door lock as the digital keyboard fell off and only gained entry because a window we could open. The heater also wouldn’t shut off, making it uncomfortably hot. Overall, this stay did not meet basic cleanliness or safety expectations. These issues significantly impacted our stay and raised serious safety concerns, especially given that children were present. This is not the condition we expected or paid for. Some of the issues where taken care of by the contact person (propane and had a lock box on outside for Key)
