“Lovely old house with large spacious rooms. We stayed 4 nights in Myfanwy which was traditionally decorated and had a very large bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Lovely views from the room and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Only issues would be the tiny television and absence of a cooked breakfast (it was continental only and and I couldn’t help thinking the pre-Covid choice would have made the stay more special) ”

“Short (1 week) stay for myself so stayed in a single room. Room was perfect for my stay and very comfortable. The hotel was also very quiet which was also a benefit.”

“The room was quaint, bathroom lovely. A nice welcome tray with biscuits and drinks. 3 flights of narrow stairs so we were glad the owner helped us with our suitcase. Would have been difficult and it’s definitely not for the handicapped. Our biggest disappointment was that no breakfast was served, especially as there’s a nice breakfast room downstairs - thought there should have been for the price. Nowhere local to eat breakfast although a mini supermarket nearby sold sandwiches. We assumed...

“Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Pisgah Guesthouse which just what I needed for a weekend of exploration. The room was very comfortable, the whole property was clean to a very high standard and the hosts were good at communicating with guests. Also had a lovely self-service breakfast. Loved the skylights in the room, the en-suite bathroom and the generous tea/coffee options. Very hospitable. Would love to stay here again in the future. 🙂”

“No nonsense, no frills but clean and tidy. Hotel is being refurbished so no kitchen or bar but staff pleasant, welcoming and coffee facilities are plentifull. No complaints from me but i dont ask for much.”

“The girl at the reception is really nice and helpful. Room was clean and with all the essential things, only the en-suite bathroom is really small. In the ground floor there is a good restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday. Pizza is really good and I am Italian to say it. You can choose any topping from a long list and compose your personal pizza.”

“This hotel is a right little gem in the heart of Barmouth. It’s such an easy review as everything was perfect and I would come back to Barmouth just to stay here. Staff so pleasant and welcoming and the room was wanting for nothing. We didn’t eat here but that’s something to look forward to next time. ”
