Peaceful Pet Friendly 3BR 2BA Cottage w/ dock!

  • Nestled away on a quiet road you'll find a little slice of paradise on Lake Greenwood. Bring your kayaks and paddleboards! This lakeside cottage is off the main water. Very little traffic and calm water making it perfect for all ages and personal watercrafts.

    This cozy cottage has it all! Be sure to grab groceries on the way because you will love the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Though you might not need to visit any local establishments, there are many wonderful places to eat and you can access them by land or "sea". Access the water by way of dock or swim ramp and enjoy with the provided floats and kayaks or bring your own vessel of choice! The cottage bedrooms are outfitted with cozy beds where you will dream of your next fun filled day on the water. Where do you want to hang out with your family and friends, will it be the outdoor covered patio overlooking the water or the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit right by the water?! The hardest decision you need to make is how long you want to stay!

Peaceful getaway

This is one of our favorite places to stay. It is so peaceful and relaxing and a great place for family and friends to enjoy time together. The property is beautiful and has everything you would ever need at your home away from home.

The stove/oven was old and needed replaced. It did not function for oven cooking/baking. Stove top was functional with cosmetic scars. The kitchen had every imaginable item needed and then some. Everything was very clean and comfortable with a few defects typical for a family-style pet-friendly get-a way. The setting was relaxing the house was really nice, although it was in a rundown very country rural area - with only a Dollar general for quick needs. Neighbors were friendly. Bathrooms were stocked and functional. Owners had lots of extra's in the house for renters to use. It did serve our family well as we were there for a wedding in Cross Hill. Its a good place to go to get off the grid and relax.

Cottage on the lake

This was a great place to spend christmas. They even had a tree and a touch of christmas in each room. Clean and fully stocked for our needs

Wonderful Stay!

This home was perfect for a family getaway! Very clean and taken care of property and you are provided with all of the basic necessities! Wonderful views of the lake and a really nice outdoor hangout area. We loved it and hope to go back again!

Restful Stay

We spent the entire week just resting and visiting with our friends who also stayed in this lovely house. Everything was clean and well maintained. We cooked and lounged about the house, porches, and dock. Fishing was also good!

Comfy, cozy and great water views

From the outside to the inside, decorated in a cute (not overdone) nautical theme. The house was clean with soft towels and comfy bed. Everything you could want is here. We loved watching nature from the covered back porch in the morning with coffee and dinner there in the evening. So quiet and we plan to return here this summer.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at this beautiful place!! We chose this place for our birthday trip (our birthdays are 1 day apart) and we would definitely consider staying again!! The hosts are so helpful and thoughtful!! It was like a home away from home for us because the hosts have thought of everything that is needed!! This property is exactly as described. It’s tranquil and cozy, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the place. Everything, from first communication to final check out has been superb. Highly recommend! Thanks so much for having us!

Great Christmas Getaway

I found this place to be peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and accurately described in the description of the listing. The home is well stocked, and clean! The fire pit was a huge hit when my son, and his fiancé visited. David, is a great communicator, and he, and his wife Meghan, went above and beyond putting out Christmas decorations for my stay. Definitely gave it a home feeling. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lake house

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation on this property. It was clear that the owners thought of every detail from having dog bowls for our pets, lake toys and a Keurig machine. The porch with a lake view was wonderful. We were looking for a property to bring our boat along. They have a sturdy dock in a protected bay. We will be returning soon.

Treasure at the Lake

Our first Vrbo experience and now the bar is set high! The owner’s response was quick for conversation, the house was very clean, beds were comfortable, hot water was plenty (we are a large family), the kitchen was stocked well with needed dishes and cookware…. It’s easy to go on and on about this place! The lakefront back yard area is well shaded for being outdoors then we enjoyed the sun and rafts on the lake! A quiet end of a cove so the evening campfires at the fire pit were peaceful. We all had a great time and no need to even leave the house! Would definitely stay here again (and just might!)

Enjoyable property and stay on a great spot on the lake. Quiet area. Nice deck in which to relax as well as a great dock. Very nice place to paddle board(brought our own) or use one of the provided kayaks. I tied up my waverunner to the dock with no problem. We also rented a boat and tying up to the dock was a breeze. Well equipped kitchen and bedrooms were quite comfortable. WiFi was a bit intermittent at times but didn’t interfere with our trip. We still were able to watch several shows each day on the Smart Tv as well as a movie one night. It rained several days of our trip - passing storms- so that could have been part of the issue. Owner messaged to make sure everything was going ok.
