“Could just cope for one night. It’s extremely dated, the heating was an old electric heater and didn’t really heat the room well, I was freezing and had to put layers on for bed because the duvet was very thin too. The room must have had a dog in previously, I had a really bad allergy reaction my eyes and nose were streaming and when I put my leggings on I had dog hairs all over them. The bathroom was nice but had a huge stain in the sink and some of the pipe boxing was falling off. The food...

“We stayed as part of a large group attending a wedding nearby. The hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and well equipped as you expect. But what made our stay were the staff - they were so wonderful. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and well organised.”

“Good location, harvester next door for dinner and close to the stadium. Breakfast was mediocre and very busy but sufficient. Staff were excellent. ”

“Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.”

“The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. ”
