    Charming & Comfortable Studio Home - Newly Updated & Fully Furnished -One Acre of Natural Beauty - Minutes from Lake Glenville - 20 Minutes to Cashiers, 25 Minutes to Highlands for grocery store and great restaurants, bars and shopping - Quick Access to Yellow Mountain Trailhead (via Cloud Catcher Rd) and many more waterfall hike trailheads within driving distance - Spacious Private Deck with Gas BBQ Grill and Fire Pit with Adirondack chairs located just off the deck (cozy blankets provided) - Kitchen Bar with Sink, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dish ware and silverware.

    Please note that although the address is listed officially as Cullowhee, NC, the studio is not in Cullowhee or very close to Western Carolina University. It's about a 30 minute drive down the mountain to campus.

Perfect little spot if you want peace and quiet! We loved the grill so we could cook and loved the deck to lounge and eat outside. It’s a very comfortable place and we would recommend it!! Just pay close attention to the map, one way took us down a long very bumpy dirt road but the other way was fine so pick the route that’s a couple more minutes, trust me!

This was a great little hideaway perfect for myself and my husband. Fairly easy to find. Definitely set your directions before getting into the thick of the forest because our AT&T service dropped and we wouldn’t have been able to find it without picking up service somewhere. The rental has great internet so it was not an issue once we got to the property. Decorated very cute and had everything we could possibly need.

Was a great, secluded, quiet, peaceful place to stay. The host was great, and texted instead of messaging if anything was needed and responded quickly. Will stay here again if in the area!!

Wonderful Stay

Was a really cozy place to stay and nicely located between Highlands and Cashiers. Was impeccably clean and plenty of space for two. The owner was very thoughtful and available if needed.

Great weekend in the mountains!

We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary, and we loved every minute! The studio was the perfect size, and it was so cozy. It had everything we needed, and Bonnie was great at communicating. We definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to be back soon!

This is a small but stylish cottage. It is well maintained with quality furnishings. It is conveniently located between Cashiers and Highlands.

Adoarable & Peaceful

My daughter and I came to check out Cashiers and Highlands for the first time. This home was absolutely adorable. Very clean and seemed like it was freshly remodeled. Would stay here again.

Wedding Stay

I was in a wedding and stayed in the studio apartment! Everything was clean and neat! It was the coziest little studio cabin and we enjoyed our stay here. The manager Bonnie was so sweet and helpful. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Gorgeous views

Stayed in this beautiful studio for the weekend to attend a wedding. Perfectly between both cashier and highlands. Gorgeous views from the studio and was just as described and very clean! Will be back :)

Quant and quiet

Perfect little bungalow for our weekend stay. Everything was very clean. Bonnie has added some nice touches. I especially appreciated the little heater available for the bathroom. Our only hiccup was some difficulty working the tv, but we figured it out. Thanks again, Bonnie!

Remote cottage

We had a busy vacation planned in Highlands and just needed a comfortable place to stay. This place is really nice and new, clean, the bed is superb, owner is very kind. If I stayed again I would make sure to go to the store and eat dinner first, then head to cottage bc it’s pretty far out of town. Also, the owner will correspond and send instructions, so make sure to look it up while you have internet and phone reception. It’s a bit spotty out in the country. Happy travels!!

Lovely space close to Highlands and Cashiers

We loved spending New Year's at this cozy studio! It's bright and clean with really pretty decor. Bonnie has everything you need, from coffee to sparkling water to firewood to toiletries. The bed was super comfy and we loved waking up to the view of the trees and rhododendrons. A couple sweet puppies dropped by to say hello when we were outside. The house feels remote, but is 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do, and 5 minutes from the hike to the Yellow Mountain fire tower- a must-do if you want to see some gorgeous views. Bonnie was a great host, and even helped us out when we locked out keys in the car! (Crisis was averted!) Thank you, Bonnie, we will definitely be back.
