“A very pleasant and quiet visit. If you are looking for a peaceful stay a short drive from the ocean, I highly recommend this listing. Recommend the School House restaurant for an upscale dining experience! Communication was fantastic, house was very clean, listing spot on.”

“This property was ideal for our needs of 10 people ages 25-96 from 5 states. Beautiful beach location with enough space for fun, common areas and comfortable, private space for everyone including private baths.The hot-tub photo on the website should be deleted as that does not exist and a few details need attention such as waste baskets in bathrooms and bedrooms, kitchen towels, etc but overall well stocked and functional. Would recommend and hope to visit again if we need space for a large...

“The house was beautiful and in a great location. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was labeled makingnit easy to find and put away. The beds were comfortable. There wa plenty of seating for meals. The stairs to the lake are well-maintained an has benches at every landing should you need to rest. The boats, paddles, and PFDs were in good condition. Overall it was a great stay. ”

“We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

“An ideal home away from home at our most favorite place in Maine. Plenty of extra touches to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Owner is quick to respond to any questions, and went well above-and-beyond to help us out when we experienced an unforeseen situation. I am so very grateful! “The house is great for extended family vacation with 3 bedrooms each having its own bathroom. The only slight drawback is that there is no dining table. It's only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the amusements, pier and the beach. ”
