“We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done...

“The accommodations were a bit roomier and nicer than other similar motel set-ups we stayed in during our NZ travels and we were very comfortable and pleased. The parking was a bit tight, but no matter as you can easily walk to town from the motel.”
