Non cercate più per un posto fantastico per giocare e rilassarvi - per un weekend, una settimana o più. Situato sul lato orientale del lago Martin, 1. 5 miglia al di fuori dei limiti della città di Dadeville, ea soli 3 km da Still Waters Resort. Inoltre, questa proprietà è meno di un minuto in barca, o dieci minuti in auto, a Smith Mountain, che è stato aperto nell'estate del 2011. A Smith Mountain, potrete fare una passeggiata nella cima di Smith Mountain e salire sulla sua torre antincendio storica e recentemente restaurata. In una giornata limpida c'è una vista di 50 miglia!

La proprietà dista solo un'ora da Montgomery, due ore da Atlanta, 75 minuti da Birmingham e 25 minuti da Auburn. Numerosi ottimi ristoranti sono a pochi minuti di distanza. Questa straordinaria proprietà sul lungomare della penisola di 1300 'è in realtà quattro lotti del lago combinati in una proprietà "unica" del lago. Si affaccia su spettacolari viste sul Lago Martin di sud, ovest e nord di fronte a BIG WATER. Si può letteralmente vedere per diverse miglia. Inoltre, ti piace la fine della privacy della strada!

Ci sono due grandi moli. Hanno la reputazione di essere due dei moli di pesca migliori in tutta la parte orientale del lago Martin. L'acqua profonda dell'acqua durante tutto l'anno è ciò che il basso, l'orata, il pesce gatto e il crappie solo amano. Molti un enorme stringer di pesci sono stati catturati da loro. Questa proprietà comprende una grande rampa di barca cementizia ampia e privata di 18 'e un'area di lancio con un molo di docking per barche in una baia protetta sul lato nord della penisola. Il dolce pendio della rampa di barca lo rende un'area ideale per il wading e la nuoto per i vostri piccoli. La proprietà è anche solo 1/4 miglio da una rampa di barca pubblica pure. La cucina e la dispensa sono dotati di tutti gli accessori essenziali, pentole, stoviglie e utensili. La casa a due piani include al piano terra la camera matrimoniale con bagno privato e zona lavanderia, cucina abitabile, sala da pranzo e camera familiare e secondo bagno. Al piano superiore ci sono tre camere da letto, un terzo bagno, un angolo cottura e un portico schermato. Il portico è il luogo perfetto per i bambini e per i bambini a giocare in sicurezza e in ombra.

La casa dorme nove molto comodamente. Il MBR ha un letto king-size, il secondo BR ha un letto matrimoniale, il terzo BR ha due letti singoli e il quarto BR ha tre letti singoli. Ci sono entrambe coperte, così come aree coperte da patio. Le aree patio sono dotate di tre tavoli con sedile 12, un tavolo bar / pub con sgabelli da bar, un sofà e sette sedie a sdraio. C'è una griglia elettrica e un carbone di legna. Board e giochi di carte sono a portata di mano.

Una barca a remi per 4 persone è disponibile per l'affitto a $ 40 al giorno.

Awesome Family Lake Trip

Long weekend 4th of July trip and we had an awesome time! This house has a really nice view and having some kayaks was a plus! Plenty of seating outside. You will not find better hosts! We would stay here again.

Fabulous Time

This is the one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at so far. I spoke with Marsha the host several times. She is very gracious, answered all questions I had and was very helpful with directions getting there to anything we needed. We loved the house and the property. The pier and boat dock were very convenient. Loved this place, will stay again.

Great outdoor space!

We had 10 adults stay comfortably with plenty of towels and blankets. I appreciated the little things, fully stocked kitchen(including keurig, crockpot, reg coffee pot with filters), plenty of towels and washcloths. 2 tables to seat us all in kitchen and outdoor tables we ate on as well. Extra chairs outside to pull up to tables too. I also appreciated my 2 -80 year old parents could sit comfortably outside(no steps)and could go to dock easily. The outdoor space is worth it. Perfect for the elderly. Lots of covered seating with umbrellas and cushions in good condition. She had blown off all leaves outside and had it nice on arrival. Nice dock seating as well. We fished off the dock, rented a boat and docked it there. We had a bonfire and grilled. Things to note: home has 1 king bed downstairs, all the rest of the beds upstairs. The room set up upstairs is a large bunk area with 3 twins overlooking screened porch, 2 twin connecting to that bedroom and a separate queen room. We all shared one bathroom upstairs. So the screened porch is less accessible with the bedroom right there and stairs or hill to get to it for the elderly. This setup would be ideal for kids upstairs and one set of parents. The home is older with unique quirky decor and paneling, but you can tell well kept and loved by the owner and repeat guests. I grew to appreciate all the paintings and signs throughout our stay. The fixtures and bathrooms are 1970s as pictured, but everything was in working order.

Beautiful lakefront access

We greatly enjoyed our family get together. The outside view and lake access were wonderful and the fish were definitely biting! Our boys fished until midnight and caught 30 or so fish! Kayaks were included and were great! We also enjoyed building a bonfire in the fire pit with the abundant wood provided. We took our 2 dogs and they had so much fun being allowed off leash to run and explore the large yard and woods surrounded on 3 sides by water. Great rental!! Thank you Marsha and Jerry for sharing your awesome property with us!

Great Lake front property!!

This was a great property with great amenities! The covered pier was a lifesaver (with 2 infants) while the kids swam there was a place to sit out of the sun!!(the pier had ceiling fans also—yay!!) The kayaks were an added treat!! The yard was fairly flat and there were no stairs you had climb down to get to the pier. It was a really beautiful setting!! The inside was adequate. It was clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked! The master bedroom was very nice.

Room to spread out

First of all Marsha and Jerry Hanks are just so friendly and accommodating! The rental property has it all! House is exactly as seen via internet. All the comforts of home including big screen tvs and fully equipped kitchen. The property has been thoughtfully landscaped with several areas to gather or to find a quiet spot to read. Could go on and on with nothing but good things to say about this stay! Best compliment I can give is that everyone voted to return next year!

Graduation celebration weekend

The outdoor feature of this property is by far 5 stars - you are right on the water with plenty of outdoor seating and a fire pit which we used two nights of our stay. The indoors is delightfully eclectic, retro and fun with plenty of room to eat, lounge and sleep. The only caution would be if you are trying to cook meals, the appliances are quite dated and you will need to take that into account. Otherwise, it was fantastic - great location!

Absolutely wonderful property and lake cabin. We had a large group (11-12) and had no problem with sleeping arrangements. Everything was very comfortable and the whole site is just relaxing. Marsha and Jerry are the best! So helpful and nice, what a great place to unwind!

perfect stay, as expected

everything about the stay was perfect, as expected. To be clear, the home is pretty dated and is probably a "new" home in the '80s, but there's nothing missing from it and it served our needs perfectly. The master bedroom is on the "main" level, which is the lower level, but it worked well for us since the inhabitants of that room had the elderly dog that couldn't go up stairs anyway. The remaining bedrooms are in the upper level, which is actually closer to the parking level, if you want to go in that way. The property is huge, and very peaceful and private. They're currently building the boathouse for those of you who want to bring or rent a boat. win-win. Only complaint i have is the upper level bathroom shower head is located at about 5' above the floor, so you have to duck down to get your head wet and shower. But otherwise it was a perfect stay! I've stayed at about a half dozen lake houses on Martin for AU games and this is in my top 2. Thanks!

October 2022 trip

We loved this house and property. The kitchen has every gadget you would ever need for cooking. It is very spacious with plenty of tables and chairs inside and out, has beautiful views with the sunset off the front. We did not want to leave. The owners are extremely nice.

Amazing host, beautiful place

We arrived on a Tuesday and stayed through Friday. We did not want to leave. The home was so comfortable and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The description of the property is not an exaggeration. The hosts were great. I was able to meet Marsha and her husband. Marsha is an absolute joy to talk to. It's like she doesn't meet a stranger. She was very accommodating. I can completely understand why her property is continously rented out. People will always come back to the wonderful hospitality! Thank you Marsha! Wonderful lakefront retreat!

I can’t say enough great things about this classic, nostalgic lakefront home! Lots of room for 2 families! The 2 sets of parents had a room to ourselves and the teenagers each had a twin bed and their own space to hang out in. Beautiful views of the lake, easy to find by car, covered dock and floating dock to tie the boat up to, & another fishing pier on the property too! My husband was grateful to be able to use the on site boat ramp as well. Fully equipped with literally EVERYTHING you need! Just bring yourselves and your groceries. Marsha and Jerry are so nice, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Super hosts!! Can’t wait to go back! We had a wonderful time!

Auburn University Graduation Weekend

This home is a perfect location for everything Auburn! It was about a 30-40 minute drive into Auburn for our commencement ceremonies. The home is easy to find, GPS is right on the money. We booked in early August of last year and our anticipation was not in vain. Lovely property with well maintained home. The beds have brand new mattresses and the multiple twin beds were perfect for the comings and going's of our young adults. There was plenty of space for friends and family to gather for the after party! The patio and dock areas were just perfect for the beautiful day we were blessed with. Plenty of outdoor seating. The fire pit area was perfect for evenings outside roasting hot dogs and s'mores. The Hanks (owners) have stocked the pantry with plenty of serving ware and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. The extra fridge upstairs really came in handy! We did have an issue with the air, but they were prompt to return messages and it was taken care of next day. The young adults in our group enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat while the youngest of us enjoyed the swim mat. We all did swim even though the water was a bit chilly. The fishing was fun, especially bobber fishing for bream in the evenings. And the sunsets are amazing. We are already planning to visit this lovely home again! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Hanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our girl!

Wonderful stay at Lake Martin

This is a terrific place at a great location. The pier has just been expanded & provides a wonderful setup to enjoy being on the lake, even though it is currently way down. Great plusses: plenty of room, both inside & outside; no hill to go up & down; fantastic views both upstairs & downstairs; plenty of chairs & tables on the Lake level; owner great to work with. Minus: upstairs kitchen had no utensils or cooking equipment. Overall: a great place that we hope to visit again.

A gem of a stay

Writing a summary about this property would never match the lovely experience we had. It’s a 10/10 and would recommend this stay to anyone and their mothers. You have to see it to believe it.
