Inn a Dahlonega

“Location ,cleanliness”

“The room was clean, but this is more like a roadside motel. It served its purpose for a one night stage just a couple of hours, but I would not have been happy if I had to stay there any longer. They did have some little decorations up, but the property itself is dated. My comments are just geared towards the physical property. The staff and everything else is fine.”

“We loved our stay. Property was very beautiful in the center of the town. Room was spacious and clean.”

“The room was not clean. There was soap scum in the shower clear down on to the floor. We did not use any of the amenities and didn’t even use the shower due to how dirty it was. The room was in a separate building about 2 blocks from the main hotel. There was no parking in the area of the room. I had to park at the main hotel and walk 2 blocks to the room. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had.”

“The property was wonderful. Quiet, great scenery. The best was Don. He was so pleasant and helpful. He would sit with us at breakfast everyday and just chat. It was a great place..”

“Location to center of town was really good. Easy access to stores and restaurants. Room was very small and tight. Many rules posted with fines threatened for failure to keep noise level down and adjustment of temperature on a/c.”

“Understand when you stay here it's an old property. Great location in town. Walk to everything. Great stay.”

“Piano room was charming and spacious! We were able to walk to everything. Enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a pleasant and brief stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cabin was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the cabin is quite old, and the mattress needs to be replaced. It sank us so much that it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom could also use a place to hang clothes other than the towel rack. Overall, it was a decent experience.”

“Overall, nice stay”

“Very nice and helpful staff. Great service”

“Super cute tiny house! It has everything you need for a weekend in Dahlonega!!”

“Very clean and comfortable for two older people. Walkable to nice shops and restaurants. Pet friendly but we didn't take ours this time. Highly recommend for a short stay!”

“Cabin was a good fit for what we were looking for….room for two kids to share and a bed for the adults. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom were all nice rooms and the newly added game room was a very nice touch. Kids loved the nearby access to the creek, and we all loved being only a short drive to town. Only issue we ran into was the cleanliness upon arrival. Rugs and floors needed to be cleaned better as it was obvious they hadn’t been vacuumed or swept much.”

“This is a lovely inn and 9-acre property. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. And don't miss the delicious breakfast prepared right in the onsite kitchen by the innkeeper. We are looking forward to returning next year.”

“The property was very clean and totally updated. Anything that you would need in the kitchen was available. They even included a lot of games, a record player and information about the surrounding area. It is located in a very nice residential area and very quiet. You can easily walk to town from the home. We really enjoyed staying there and the owners were very prompt with a response when we had a question. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.”

“The cabin was beautiful. The drive in and out was not as expected since it’s at the end of the street so be prepared for steep hills. Other than that, it was peaceful. My husband and I had a wonderful time.”
