“My room was clean and comfortable, the mattress and pillow were soft and plush and the bathroom was clean, well lit, and had modern hardware in great condition. So many hotel bathrooms I stay at in India are pathetic but not the case here. Also I had to check out at 3am and the staff helped me order a taxi to the airport (just a 5 min drive away at 3am) and carried my bag to the curb and talked to the driver for me since I only speak English. Would gladly stay again. ”

“I highly recommend SAMOTEL. I ended up here after leaving the very dirty Hotel Consulate by Bookmerihotel where I had my original reservation. I am so glad I found SAMOTEL. It’s the best value for money I’ve had in my visits to 36+ countries. A modern touch with amazing staff. Everyone works hard to ensure a great stay. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be staying here again when I’m back in Kolkata. ”
