“The facilities are modern and kept clean. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool multiple times. Breakfast was good with choices of scrambled eggs, toast or muffins or bagels. The ham was delicious, too. We enjoyed our stay since the location was convenient to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park as well as the airport.”

“The Powder HOuse Lodge is right off Highway 16A and except for some traffic noise, we abolutely loved it. The staff was amazing expecially the wait staff in the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious meals. Everything we tried was mouth wateringly good. The cabins were lovely, spacous and comfortable with two queen beds, a TV, AC, microwave, and mini fridge and a porch with porch swing to enjoy the beauty. “Our room had a noisy bathroom fan and the bathroom light bulb went out later. The front desk man who cheerfully carried our luggage upstairs to our room was prompt in taking care of our request. Overall, the hotel needs a refresh. To sum it up, I would find another hotel to stay at.”
