“Amazing place, reception staff could improve the experience”

“This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay.”

“The space was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only challenge was that we could not turn on any heat in the living room area and it was a little chilly. ”

“An der Rezeption gab es eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich, ein bequemes Bett und TV mit genügenden Programmen. Einladendes Frühstücksbuffet. Ich komme gern wieder!”

“Die kleine Wohnung liegt inmitten der Altstadt, die Victoriastreet und das Castle sind gleich um die Ecke. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man nichts vom Verkehr auf den Straßen. Die Wohnung ist zwar klein, aber mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Wohnzimmer mit Pantryküche (plus schönem Duschbad), kommt man gut zurecht. Eine Bushaltestelle der Linienbusse ist direkt vor dem Haus, eine Ghostbustour startet auch dort. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay with Alan and Alison (and Mr Tom). The room was the perfect size for us, with a modern bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a comfy bed. The breakfast options worked well for us, with Alan cooking breakfast items as requested. Several buses stop almost at the front door of the property; it was straightforward to get almost anywhere in the city. There were several restaurants and grocery stores a 10-15 walk from the B&B (also accessible by bus). We’d happily stay there...

“I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”
