Info This is a duplex. You will share a wall and hear the neighbors and their dogs It has a funky layout The light switch for the back hall is in the master bedroom, not by the hallway...weird. Pros The neighborhood seemed to be fine and had a park It's 20 minutes from the airport & AT&T Stadium The host did respond to questions There are 3 bedrooms Cons The place was filthy. Not swept or mopped, dusty, the bedding had stuff all over it and had obviously been slept in by a dirty person. There was cat hair on the beds and couches and it smelled strongly like a cat. We arrived after 1am and didn't really have much of an option but to stay, but it was gross. The home itself is not in good condition. It seems to have been remodeled by someone that doesn't know what they are doing. There are missing tiles in the shower, floor boards that are loose, carpet(that was nasty) that has exposed tack strips, chipping paint (in the sink of all places), missing cabinet fronts, and just overall poor craftmanship. There was only 1 towel in the whole house. There is no soap- shower soap, laundry, or even hand soap to wash after using the restroom. Safety concerns The driveway is so skinny that you will ding up your door on the concrete step if you try to get out of the car The porch steps are too tall and likely against building code There isn't a strike plate on the front door deadbolt, so easier break ins The back 2 bedrooms have stairs to get into them, which might be hard for some.
Dirt and animal hair on the couches
They didn't have side tables so thing were just placed on the ground. It was that way in the bedroom too so to charge your phone it was on the floor
This was missing cabinet fronts even though there were hinges there for them. The kitchen seemed to have a good amount of supplies but we didn't use them.
This is chipping paint. The sink was originally red so to make it look better for listing pictures, it and the faucet was painted black.
