The Monticello Guest House - Charming M Streets - Dallas

La nostra pensione molto pulita e confortevole è situata in un quartiere storico, pieno di affascinanti case Tudor degli anni '20 e '30. La Monticello Guest House offre tutti i comfort di casa. Un bagno completo con vasca e doccia con piede artigianale, asciugacapelli, ferro e asse da stiro, angolo cottura con frigorifero in acciaio inox, piano cottura a due fuochi, macchina da caffè, forno a microonde e tostapane. Stoviglie, bicchieri, utensili e pentole sono tutti forniti.

La pensione dispone di un letto matrimoniale molto confortevole con un materasso in cuscino. Sono previste lenzuola, cuscini, coperte e asciugamani aggiuntivi. Smart TV include Netflix, Amazon Prime e Hulu Plus (con Eero Wifi per un segnale forte). La nuova unità di riscaldamento e climatizzazione assicura il massimo comfort.

Si può aspettare un soggiorno molto rilassante, privato con ingresso senza chiave e il tuo garage privato e ingresso. I proprietari sono disponibili per testo se c'è qualcosa che ti serve.

Siamo nel cuore delle Strade M, a pochi passi da tutti i divertimenti sul Lower Greenville Ave. (simpatici caffè, ottimi ristoranti, negozi di alimentari e vita notturna). Camminate l'altra direzione e siete nel quartiere di Knox Street con negozi raffinati e boutique, e altri ristoranti e vita notturna più sorprendenti. Ci piace il cibo ottimo in modo da trovare un elenco di ristoranti consigliati e attrazioni nelle vicinanze nella guest house.

Siamo situati a pochi isolati dalla Central Expressway, con una vicinanza e un facile accesso a Downtown, Uptown, Mockingbird Station, Knox-Henderson, SMU, Northpark Mall, Dallas Arboretum ea pochi isolati da Katy Trail.

The train station was a brisk 20 minute walk away and once you know the route you are good to go every day. Train to city was fast and clean. Station always had guards around. Safe neighbourhood and friendly locals.

Great Location in Dallas!

Beautiful area of Dallas and close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Property could use a little renovation especially the faucet on tub, slow ceiling fan, shower curtain and very loud bed springs. This property was not easy to find at night as house number is painted on step so not visible at all.

Dallas Stay

We stayed at this property for a wedding. Check in process was easy and the instructions were clear. We had some issues with ants and the host was so kind and super responsive! Our only complaint is the space could use some upgrading there is some foundation settling which led to lots of gaps in the windows and we did have a lot of bugs entering. Of course we understand this is part of spring in Texas but the space could use a little TLC from a structural stand point and is just something to be aware of when staying here.

Fantastic

We were in for a concert and it was my best friend of over 40 years and myself. We didn’t need anything other than a small space to sleep and get ready and this was absolutely perfect. It was so cute and the neighborhood was just a dream! Christmas lights everywhere and beautiful homes. Plenty of privacy, and we had everything we needed!

Pleasantly Surprised

We’ve never stayed in a guest house before so we were a little apprehensive. Our stay turned out to be wonderful. It was very private and quiet. The host texted me back immediately when I texted her and the neighborhood was nice. We walked to lower Greenville twice for dinner and dessert. All in all, great . Would recommend!

Should Have said Garage

I should have stayed at a hotel. I was very disappointed. The space was a converted garage space. There was no coffee maker. I never took off my shoes because the floor- which was concrete- was filthy. The towels left for use were old and overused. There wasn't anything plushy about it. I had to Uber even for coffee- The space was not convenient to M Street at all. It was not close to Bishop Art District at all.

State fair getaway

We went for the Texas state fair but found much more to do. The George Bush Presidential museum along with the JFK tour awesome. The guest house was clean, neat and nicely decorated. My only want would be to have a dresser to put my things in. The neighborhood was really nice we went walking in the evenings and they had a block party while we were there with music and a food truck. It was convenient to most everything we did. I will stay next trip.

Lovely, Private and Quiet

I would definitely stay here again. Access to Lower Greenville was fabulous and I loved the neighborhood with family’s out with kids and people exercising. The bed is sooooo comfortable and the shower strong! All the amenities I needed and pretty decorative touch made me feel at home.

Just wanted to say that parking is on the street. I think i read previous reviews that said you could park in the garage or the driveway and on the table in the room there is a note that says please dont forget to turn in the garage door opener, but it is not an option and when i parked in the driveway to get my bags out of the car the owner reprimanded me harshly. So i apologize for my mistake there. The neighborhood is very lovely and safe. The walk from your car is very dark and down a long driveway that u have to walk in grass and mud if its raining fyi to get around owners car. The room is cute but small. Definitely only 1-2 people. Cement garage floor with a small area rug. The bed was comfortable. The towels smelled like mildew. I only saw one small beetle in the room. No spiders or webs. Clean. The shower/tub is high off the ground and you have to hop a little to get out. The ceramic handles are broken in multiple places. Overall it is just ok.

Cozy stay

All I can say is that it’s a really nice little place in a great and quiet neighborhood. Really peaceful day and night. Room was nice and cozy, clean and the a/c was just amazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent hosts, wonderful place to stay, great neighborhood

Stayed here for thirteen nights in late April/early May 2024. Had a wonderful time here. The home is very clean and well kept. The host, Becky, was very responsive and communicative. I really liked the neighborhood also as I was able to get to a Kroger, restaurants, the Katy Trail, the Post Office, etc, all within walking distance for me. If I ever wanted to go someplace else around Dallas, it felt like it was never more than a ten minute drive. I really appreciated the hospitality as I was away from home for a very long time. This was also my first time ever using VRBO. Thank you to Becky and your family for such a wonderful experience!
