Had to stay at a hotel
We couldn’t get in! The keypad code host gave us did not work. Stood in rain texting and calling. Host didn’t respond. Called VRBO & they contacted Host. Host sent same keypad code! Called VRBO again. Host — in main house — came out and couldn’t get in using keypad either. And didn’t have the actual keys. Had to find a hotel. VRBO gave excellent customer service.

I’m so sorry this happened. We responded and tried to help as fast as we could. This was just a one time unfortunate event that had never happened before. The issue was resolved the following morning. I’m so sorry about that!

Overall very good
Cleanliness was better than expected. Communications with the property owner, excellent. The bed was squeaky just sitting on it or rolling over and not all that comfortable but everything else was exceptional.

Special Hideaway
Becky’s space is clean and comfortable with all the items that made it a really enjoyable stay. The area is perfect for a morning walk and close to SMU, shopping and entertainment. I was here for work and look forward to a return to this sweet space.

Great place
Quiet neighborhood, comfortable place. Questions answered quickly. Booked to be near the Grenada Theater for a show. Walking distance and felt perfectly safe walking home after 11 pm. Narrow driveway is mentioned in the description and it is narrow but if you have a smaller vehicle the use of the garage is a very nice convenience. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Just okay if your looking for something close to Greenville Ave
The property was clean and easily accessible but the pictures of the outside are a misrepresentation. There is not one stick of furtniture outside to sit on and enjoy the weather. There is a picture of a beautiful outside area in the listing. I feel this is deceptive advertising. Other than that the stay was fine. The bed was a little uncomfortable but okay.

Super cute with a fantastic location
Great spot! The neighborhood is really charming, and tons of restaurants, shops, etc, are just 3 blocks away. The studio is basically a converted garage, but they did a great job, and it feels modern, safe, and secure. The kitchenette is surprisingly nice, well equipped, and large considering the space. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that when stepping in the door, you were immediately standing on the light colored rug. There's no doormat or spot to take off your shoes, so when it's wet and rainy, you can't help but track in leaves and water. The rug was kind of stained and I'm sure this is why.

Very comfortable stay at Montecello Guest House
My Husband and I stayed here. We choose not to dignify the term, "partner". Everything was exactly as presented in the ad. Immaculately clean and well supplied. Easy, keyless entry and even a garage space, if we had needed it. Owner was available to answer questions. We do need, though to learn how to contact VRBO Co. to ask about VRBO's business practices for our information.

This rental fit the bill!
We enjoyed our short stay in this converted garage guest suite. It has a lot of charm! The AC works great and the bed is comfy. Becky was very quick to respond to any messages. We love this neighborhood- very close to all our favorites in Greenville.

Comfortable quiet stay
The place is everything and more than is described and shown in photos. Quiet, very clean place! Located in a beautiful quiet upscale neighborhood which is exactly what we wanted. We took several walks during our stay and I felt very safe; we saw so many families/neighbors running/walking, playing in the front yard, etc, and they were very friendly as we passed by. Multiple coffee shops and tons of food options within 0.5-1.5 miles. If you’re looking for a quaint place uptown Dallas this place is perfect! Highly recommend :)

Very peaceful and comfortable!
My cousin and I were in town to attend a concert and needed a place to stay for two nights near the Dos Equis Pavilion within a reasonable price. This guest house was the best place to stay for my cousin and I. The neighborhood was nice, peaceful, and quiet. The only negative experiences we had were the very low water pressure from the shower and the inward bulging section on the left side of the fence when driving in and backing out of the driveway. Overall, it was wonderful and we will definitely book this property again!!

Excellent except one thing
Please consider moving the leaves/debris at the bottom of the gate so it can be pushed in more flush with the fence. The driveway is very narrow making it harrowing to back out especially at night and even during the day. Hitting one’s side mirrors, your brick wall, or the gate is very hard to maneuver.

Thanks for the feedback. The gate is electric, it doesn't move farther back, but it leaves plenty of room. The driveway is a bit narrow, but it's definitely accessible. There is always parking on the street and the driveway, if parking in the garage is an issue. Thanks for your feedback!

I stayed in the garage apartment, the interior was nice. There was a good amount of mold along the wall of the shower. A few ants, bugs and cobwebs in the bathroom also. When I took out some trash, the back gate was old and a picket broke off. The garage isn't exactly accessible by car as the fence alongside the driveway veers into the driveway. The interior is nice.

Clean and Close to most everything!
Easy access into the Cottage and was quite clean and very comfortable. Very close to most areas of Dallas and Greenville offers good restaurants and bars.

Perfect location
This immaculate guest house was small but had everything we needed. It was in an ideal location for accessing downtown Dallas museums, and wonderful restaurants and coffee shops along nearby streets.

97.5% Perfect...would stay again
Overall, I would say this was a great property. I AIRB&B and VRBO frequently and this is a nice little place. The location is perfect for all things Dallas. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and full of character with great homes to see as you walk or drive through. Becky was easy to reach and responded promptly. Check in and out was easy. No problems at all. We were given 100% privacy, had our own space, and even parked our car in the garage. Nice feature. There is closet space to hang clothes with plenty of hangers. A luggage rack for your suitcase and two side tables that have small drawers for some storage. There is a kitchenette with filtered water, glassware and essential dishware, a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Becky provides a few coffee pods and snacks. The small 2.5% I would give feedback on: I am a coffee addict. Have to have it when I wake up. The coffee maker stopped working after our first two cups. After trying everything on our first morning, I let Becky know. It did not get remedied during our stay. So trips to Starbucks were made which was a small inconvenience. The other smallest of details, the hand soaps were clearly watered down to mostly water. Being on the germaphobe side I found that a bit odd. Soft soap/hand soap is a relatively cheap commodity these days and a needed one. Other than those two small details, which had nothing to do with anything major, I would stay here again. It is a nice little spot that is super convenient.

The location of this property was good for getting to the Dallas locations we visited. The property was clean, but in need of a few updates. The bed was very soft and squeaky. The bathroom shower had very little water power. The toilet after flushing would occasionally keep running. I would considering returning if updates were made to these problems.
